I can't believe some people here are still defending this quasi rapist. What the hell does it take?

His employer fired him, his spin contractors have dropped him, his production company has canned him, his union has abandoned him and even all the artsy fartsy types who first rushed to his defence after his facebook post are turning against him and why? Because this isn't the 'lite playful 50 shades of grey consensual sex between partners got unfairly sacked by a few old curmudgeons' that he posted online.

There is more than enough evidence now to conclude this guy is a sexual predator of the worst magnitude and there is now even a police investigation as this story evolves. He hits, chokes and even strangles women to the point of passing out and calls this sex and the fact that they went to his place supposedly makes it consensual. He rapes them in his bedroom and sexually harasses them at work to the point that a number of women at CBC quit.

No woman deserves this kind of BS. Our mothers, daughters and sisters deserve to go to work, on dates or walk down the street without being harassed, raped, assaulted or even having their bloody pictures posted or hounded on twitter until they want to off themselves.

The only way this crap stops is when guys stop behaving this way and start kicking the **** out of those who do.

For some people - a conviction. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for a few days because he didnt seem like the type and I know someone who was f*cked over by allegations which later turned out to be false. Now I buy it. He probably is guilty and a monster. The only people I see trying to defend him use the "innocent until proven guilty" line. That only applies to the court of law, not the court of public opinion. The CBC says they saw photos and videos which he used to defend himself but instead made them decide to drop him. They must be pretty damning. If/when this goes to trial I imagine those things will go public.

the senator,the cop and ranking Officers have had their own share of being in the media,actually I would suspect cops would be the leaders of allegations of assault,so why would it matter if a broadcast jounalist is charged with assault?Is there right and wrong professions for assault?

People can't be shocked when some girl like Rehtaeh Parsons is raped and cyber bullied to the point of suicide and demand something be done then do an about face and dismiss the horrors that have befallen all these other women and wait for a conviction.

There is already enough evidence that the public knows of to make it completely unacceptable and possibly illegal if the CBC HAD actually continued to employ him so someone would have to be pretty ideologically blinded to still hang their banner of support on that one.

As for the innocent until proven guilty.......yeah I'm all for that but his supporters have to ask how committed they are to that maxim. Would they let their kids be supervised by someone who was alleged to be a pedophile but not yet proven as only one example of a 1000?

This guy is a sick **** and I desperately hope one of the abused girls has an old school dad or brother who can go over and do a little hate ****ing of their own.

I watched a report on this last night. The guy was into rough kink. Getting a bj in the white house in no way compares to man handling women and literally punching them out

buddy here lost his ability to filter and place boundaries so did Clinton BUT...with buddy here his behaviour was way out there and the women said afterward he didn't understand it was wrong...he would just walk away

yes Clinton being in a place of power acted like a complete azzhat but this is in a league of it's own

Some people have difficulty following the bouncy legal ball. They're the same stupid people that haven't clue one that businesses that rely on the public trust, have won in cases like this time and time again. Their bottom line simply relies on their image.

Correct- He cannot sue- This 55 M was a blatant attempt to silence anyone coming forwards.
He has to submit a grievance - and the Union can refuse to represent or assist him with that grievance.
