ISIS is hampering Climate Change by delaying EU taxpayer funded NG projects from accessing NG. Now EU won't be meeting emissions so you'd best make up your mind.

I'm inclined to think the vote would have been near unanimous had in not been for party loyalty and a vote against Harper for the sake of a vote against Harper

Exactly. Sometimes I think we would do better without political parties.

Well Boomer when you start owning up to the problems with your own religion (or lack of) first, rather than focusing all you energy on Muslims. In your particular case you have been known to cheer when it is a Muslim baby that is targeted. That is a sickness there is no recovery from, when you post **** I'm going to expose it for what it is, a scumbag at work. Get used to it, I have nothing to apologize for as I'm not claiming anybody should be killed off like you call for. No free passes for any group is not discrimination.
Let's see you post something that backs up your claim that you know Muslims aren't the only group that should be hauled into court.

What a load of malarky.

Folks on this Forum beat up on Christians,. Catholics, Jews, etc, all the time

Instead of acknowledging the problem you blame Israel, Western Powers, everyone except the head chopping scumbags who are victims of Western influence or conspiracy.

Poor ISIS, look at what we are making them do.

I asked for a percentage of people who are endangered in the territory.

This isn't an issue I'm familiar with, but it would help if we know the degree of harm.
Good idea, lets bring it all down to numbers.

Did the train smash the soul out of you?

It just means that we want to know more about what the problems are, the degree of effect and what the correct plan of action is to take.

These are legitimate concerns that transcend right/left politics and even RCS (who you would probably qualify as being on 'the right') acknowledged this.
Ummm, ya, no, I wouldn't compare yourself or your queries to RCS, not in anyway shape or form.

Why can't you just leave at that vote rather than make it a left/right issue?

The point is that not everyone is on board with this decision.

That doesn't mean that they are some wussy, lily livered scrub.

This split along Party lines
If Jack was alive he would have voted for the mission.
Many Liberals support the measure.
No one support Combat troops on the ground
One if I recall abstained, other did their lapdog trick.

Poor ISIS, look at what we are making them do.

Last time I saw that one it was Assad. Now it's Assad's enemies. Probably recycled from Saddam days.

I wtached a good 30 minutes of ISIS beheadings about a month back. Probably won't do that again. Didn't see any kids though. Mostly young male Muslims. Not that bad a way to go. The waiting--while they do all your friends--is the worst part.

And there you have it folks.

If there was any confusion about the idiocy that permeates the JT cult, it should be all cleared up now.

First I've seen it, but I will concede that I can't verify it's validity, although a check on snopes still has it as undetermined.

I watched a Missionary beheaded and it was brutal. Holding him down, sawing through his neck with a blade as he struggled. A horrific way to go in contrast to beheading by sword and purposely so. They want to horrify, to terrorize, it's part of their program.

So how will Obama handle this one?
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/10/w...n-region&region=top-news&WT.nav=top-news&_r=0

ISTANBUL — With the United States continuing to pressure Turkey to do more in the fight against the Islamic State, Turkey’s position has hardened around an idea it has pushed for years as a strategy to confront the chaos of the Syrian civil war: a buffer zone along its frontier with Syria.

The idea is emerging as a possible way to end the standoff between the United States and Turkey, and American military planners are said to be looking at how to implement such a plan, which would require a no-fly zone and stepped up combat air patrols to take out Syrian air defense systems.

Yet the prospect of a buffer zone is proving deeply divisive in Washington, as it would go far beyond President Obama’s original mission of taking on the Islamic State and would lead to a direct confrontation with the Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad.

While Turkey has largely described the plan in humanitarian terms — to protect refugees and also Turkey’s border — the argument made privately is that a buffer zone would quickly evolve into a place where moderate rebels would be trained to fight Mr. Assad’s government; in other words, a fledgling rebel state.

Thank you for bringing this grave aspect of the issue in discussion to the congregations attention. The climate change issue is being overshadowed by this tiny little carnage outbreak. Why don't these warniks STFU untill we get the climate change thing changed. I believe they are simply balking at doing their bit and seek to use this blood shed carnival to somehow avoid their carbon responsibilities. Dog bless you.

I would much rather see tax dollars and F-18s being spent on a Lunar sea port so that captive orbs cheese could finally be exploited. Winning a war against ourselves is stupid.

Stupid? What if we actually won a great victory, up to our knees in rose peddles, brass bands, jubilation wild abandon in the streets, let's go for it fu ck the climate. Of course many of you won't survive, we will remember you bill I mean bob, when we sober up.

What a load of malarky.
When the same posters post the same theme more than 10 times a day are they indicating the rest of us are so stupid that 'we' need reminding every 30 minutes by at least one of the 'usual crowd'.

So, if they deserve it why not, exposure of secret thing is the best cure isn't it? When was the last the somebody ubder 18 got executed for having sex with somebody that is 14 or older, men older than 18 should have been charged when they did it but the odds are that they weren't. In our land how many crimes do Muslims commit that outdo what Jews and Christians and Heathens do? If the answer is less will you then claim it is a conspiracy by them to sneak control away from the current leaders by becoming more in number and voting them out

Instead of acknowledging the problem you blame Israel, Western Powers, everyone except the head chopping scumbags who are victims of Western influence or conspiracy.
If a drone has taken out a family then I would think that person is the next covert operative as motive will not be won over by a show of false sympathy.

Poor ISIS, look at what we are making them do.
When you look at what they are actually doing it makes you wonder. Remember the bank job that got the $500M is $100 bills. Look up the details, no word of a series of banks being hit, one bank and they got that much in about 30 minutes. I got a bunch of old westerns you would enjoy reading. If I push some new terrorist into your neighbothood and in the process of protecting you the grain and water and oil supplies the locals use are destroyed and ISIS escapes with all their flags.
How many times has something that is close to a war crime been blamed on faulty intel and yet there are 20 actions going on that involves citizens getting killed and every piece of intel is taken as gospel and acted on without any attempt at verification. Fool me 100 time and somebody is a sheeple.

Re: ISIS Mission passes with strongly divided vote in the house

Fukking Canadians have become yellow belly cowards, at least the Liberal side of the house.

Not just the Liberals, but the Dippers as well. Anyway the Liberals are not a force and besides their leader is a lame duck, actually an inexperienced lame duck who just happened to be born with a platinum spoon in his mouth. I'd be very surprised a year from now on election day if the Liberal have many more seats than they have now, unless the membership finds a new leader in the meantime. I wish he'd take a trip down to Iraq/Syria and try talking diplomatically with the head honchos of ISIS. -:)

I'll give you this, you're becoming skilled at deflection. But let's face it. That's all it is, deflection.

If a drone has taken out a family then I would think that person is the next covert operative as motive will not be won over by a show of false sympathy.

Excusing. Another example of making excuses for despicable behavior.

Trying to raise doubt about the actions of a group parading as God Fearing when in fact they are just disgusting cult killers with the same morality of the Manson family or Ted Bundy. Difference here is that no one ran to the Manson Families defense or Ted Bundy's for that matter except of course the defense lawyers. Is that what you are MHZ?

Are you a defense lawyer for ISIS, raising doubt regarding public beheadings, provocation and threats of violence?

Your definitely not an apologist, but certainly a denier.

No actually the House is working pretty well the Liberals and the NDP apparently
don't agree with the government on the issue. they voted accordingly and that is
how democracy works. Did you note however what the opposition said after the
vote. Now that it is a government policy we support the mission and that is fair.
Its not a disgrace to disagree its how a variety of voices are heard.
I get to talk to a lot of people in the course of the day and most I talked to are OK
with a flight mission but they want an exit and that is a serious problem.
I agree with many that this is a present serious danger most people I don't think
do see that and they don't care. Just because some opposition member or a lot
vote no does not mean they are yellow or bad or anything else it means they did
not agree with what is being put in front of them to vote on.
The only other question I have at times like this is if there is all this money to go to
war why is there no serious money for post secondary education or Vets pension
increases and a list of other things that plague the social fabric of the nation?
