If true, that's beyond despicable.
The part you are missing and that should be taken as being one of the most important words are the one that says it is his hometown. BUT he does have that tainted quality because he is not a Muslim. The sad fact is if you come from a town that shows a certain quality then you will find it in Muslims, Christian and Jews who live in that same town. In this case that 'attitude you dislike so much' is something that might affect 20% of the town as being 'radical one side or the other'. You can't say BL isn't a radical. Boomer is also a radical as he spews out death threats left and right yet he look for the slightest wording that he can report to the Mods that he got a death threat. That is one of many reasons my post to him have a 'certain tone'. At least I'm not wearing 2 faces Mr. Bear, perhaps time to add a new 'badge' one that has the option of truth or lie in it, right Mr. Bear(s) Surely some fitting term can be found to go along with it.
(in Part)
Even my parents have been talking about it.
It does seem that the group of Muslims from Bolton (my hometown, so some of these could live just across the road from me) who Alan Henning was with when they all went to Syria for "charity work" - in a huge convoy of ambulances, taking with them medical supplies, etc for the people of Syria - are not the angels we have been led to believe they are. . . . . .
As for being a Bible Thumper, Religion isn't a topic that is about to die out. If a conversation about it has others running out of the room screaming so me it, their screams are because they have no valid answer to a question I can ask them yet any question they can come up with gets an almost instant answer. I don't mind that in the least, lets being on the sidelines watching 'the show' a bit less puzzling and concluding that people might not be intentionally stupid when it comes to certain subjects. Being dangerous because I read a book, what kind of paper tiger world is this.
