They seem sufficiently content with my work to pay me quite handsomely. So I don't see much point in caring about your damnfool opinion. It's free, and worth every penny.

As they say, there's a sucker born every minute. I guess you manage to find most of them.

She can do what ever she wants with her body, it's what she does with the Baby growing inside her that she shouldn't have the right to arbitrarily kill.
Until a bit of tissue can live outside a woman's body on it's own it is not a baby nor considered a human being deserving rights under biblical or Canada's laws. The actual living, breathing being harbouring that as yet fully unformed cluster of genes, must be given first choice on whether to donate her body.

When it is possible to transfer the embryo or fetus into a male body, then men may have a say in what rights are assigned to those clumps of tissue. I wonder how many men would donate first their bodies to bring about a living being and then support that being until it is capable of caring for itself.

She had that choice already. She chose to have sex knowing what the potential consequences would be. If she didn't want to get pregnant...... well...... you know the answer. Although, I am pretty sure you are one of the selfish ones that feel that consequences and responsibility for ones actions is for someone else, not you.

I disagree with him totally on this. MPs should be able to vote their conscience. If their constituents dont like the way they voted on any particular issue they can vote for someone else in the next election.

Yes she certainly can, if she doesn't feel she can give it the proper standard of living it deserves.

Interesting statement.... So, when an individual is clinging to life as a result of a car accident, I suppose that employing technology for the purpose of life support transforms that individual into a 'non-human' as he/she is not capable of life on it's own

Maybe you didn't get the memo: Women don't conceive spontaneously.

As long as society dictates that men have an ongoing responsibility to the baby and the mother via the law, morality and financially, you better fukking well believe that men should have a say

Typical .......why should women have to assume the major role in bearing & raising a child she does not want or might not have consented to. Do you imagine women in Canada are ignorant on the prevention of conception?? Does the male have no responsibility?? Until the men of the world can be forced to share the role - the women wanting or needing abortions should be the only judge on what her body is used for!!

"The most frequently cited research on sexual violence was conducted by Statistics Canada in 1992, which involved a national random sample of 12,300 women (Johnson and Sacco, 1995). The research found that over one in three women had experienced a sexual assault and that only 6% of sexual assaults were reported to the police.[64] According to Justice Institute of British Columbia, one out of every 17 women is raped, 62% of rape victims were physically injured, 9% were beaten or disfigured."

According to United Nations studies, in SAfrica, 28% to 37% of the men have committed rape and 7 to 9 of those have engaged in gang rape. Sweden has the highest rate of rape in Europe....69 rapes to 100,000 inhabitants. 1/3 of women have been sexually assaulted by the time they leave their teens.

Lesotho 88.6 rapes per l00,00 inhabitants. All Carribean countries 48% of girls reported sexual initiation to be forced.

So, don't use that "She should have known better crap". Women know about the results of sexual intercourse even adolescents.

What is a female body and mind programmed to do other than make babies? Is it an unwanted curse?

Fine ,but why do you insist that the taxpayers of Canada pay for your choice ?

Women were born with a brain, just as men were. Most men are born with a *****, so is producing and supporting children to be forced on them to the exclusion of everything else.......no choice??

It's interesting that many years ago, people had lots of reasons why black people shouldn't have all the rights granted to "All men". It wasnt all that long ago that women weren't granted the same rights as men. Until the scientific community can come up with a consensus as to what is specifically required in order to be considered a human being, this debate will never end

LOL Women are not taxpayers?? Good grief, someone should have told me that years ago!! Do you not think the cost of unwanted children in the Social Welfare system and all the ways an unloved child cost the taxpayers less than an abortion??
