And how many people have you personally observed, out of the 7 billion on the planet?

Let me see a knockout punch, hauled out of the elevator. Yep, he will repeat this behavior. Then we have the fawning hotel staff, along with the NFL.

Perhaps he could use a short seminar on "anger management"!
As a condition of his diversion programme, he is taking considerably more than a short seminar on anger management, and they are in counselling together.

One of the many things the "hang 'im high" crowd doesn't know about the case.

Let me see a knockout punch, hauled out of the elevator. Yep, he will repeat this behavior. Then we have the fawning hotel staff, along with the NFL.
So basically, all the successful interventions and counselling that occur on a daily basis in this country aren't as good as your emotionally driven shot from the hip?

What do you think about Janae's (that's her name, bet you didn't know that either) blast at the NFL and the media? I anticipate some superior words about enabling or co-dependence, to prove how much smarter you are than people who actually know something about the case.

I heard today on radio sports she is defending him, saying he has been punished enough.
I think he should serve a suspension and find some way to make amends after all they
let that other dog fighting slug back into the game didn't they? I think he is a thug and a
bully and a scum bag however if you relax things for one why not this guy?

I am sure she is. She is married to an NFL star and now he's been let go by the Ravens and the NFL has suspended him indefinitely.

Now THAT is a huge loss in cash and she just saw her lifestyle reduced dramatically. He was under a $35 Million dollar contract.
Money talks. Who was that BB player screwing around on his wife, was charged with rape or something, I believe all became happy land with a 4 million diamond ring.

Oh my, the brain cleared

Now back to the good stuff
Ray Rice video sent to NFL in April, law enforcement official says | National Post

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — A law enforcement official says he sent a video of Ray Rice punching his then-fiancée to an NFL executive five months ago, although league officers have insisted they didn’t see the violent images until this week.

The person played The Associated Press a 12-second voicemail from an NFL office number on April 9 confirming the video arrived. A female voice expresses thanks and says: “You’re right. It’s terrible.”

Is it even theoretically possible that any woman might be anything other than a gold digger?

Just wondering.

Well, the NFL has hired Robert Muller III to do an independent investigation of the Ray Rice Incident. I think it is starting to get blown out of proportion. I guess the sticky point is somebody at the NFL apparently saw the video and did nothing with it. Probably buried it beside the Bill Bellecheat evidence from SpyGate.

Republican Ben Carson says the public should not demonize Ray Rice:

Ben Carson on Ray Rice: 'Let's not demonize this guy' - Washington Times

Rice needs "help", he said.

Nah, not to worry - evidently he got most of his $25 million contract paid up front so he'll be living the good life for a long time to come.
Dr. Carson is right, apparently by accident. He talks about what Ray Rice and his family need, apparently unaware that Ray individually and Ray and Janay together are getting counselling.

Which proves, it actually is possible to shoot from the hip from a position of complete ignorance, and still be right. Even a blind pig finds an acorn every now and again.

I don't think she's a gold digger. She just saw her husband's salary reduced dramatically.

If he manages it right. Pro Sport Athletes do not have stellar records in managing wealth.

I wonder if i was watching the same video as everyone else some times.. especially the media and their feminist pundits.

When Rice entered the elevator his girlfriend (now wife) backhanded him and then attaked him, flailing with closed fists. Rice knocked her cold with a single strike in response. One that produced no permanent injury.. or apparently any marks.. which would indicate a pulled punch. You would have a great problem prosecuting a case of assault or abuse in this case.. as by contemporary standards Rice was within his rights to protect himself and had not delivered the initial blow.

They were both drunk (which was primary reason for the girl's collapse and incapacity) and had been arguing verbally prior to entering the elevator. His wife admitted to her role in the altercation.. and they've kissed and made up.

Now, in fairness, Rice is a 230 pound professional athlete in peak physcial condition. His girlfriend is a 120 pounds of a somewhat thin and fragile consitution.

But the feminist movement has demanded the elimination of the 'old' rules.. where a man simply does not hit a woman.. to one of equality and gender blindness before the law. Well okay. then the same rules should apply to both.

What irritates me is the pathetic pandering of the feminists to their 'victimization' by men portraying themselves as deserving the special 'pedastal' that so adamantly claim to reject.. but only when it suits them and their cause.

Don't get me wrong. I condemn all battery of all kinds.. and especially against women. I just don't like the opportunistic hypocrisy of the feminist movement in this case who've made a political motif out of the case. There are far worse examples of spousal abuse than this.. and it all goes on in secret, without this public uproar.

This is not about feminist demands or PC this or that. It's about market forces. NFL advertising dollars and branding.
