“Every week there’s a new explanation of the hiatus,” said corresponding author Ka-Kit Tung, a UW professor of applied mathematics and adjunct faculty member in atmospheric sciences.

Hiatus- A pause or gap in a sequence, series, or process.

See the definition of hiatus.

In the meantime... I think you should write to the U.S. National Science Foundation and have them pull UW's grant. This cannot be tolerated.

You provided it.

Your link does not say we are cooling.

It says slowdown.

Look at the trend, it's perfectly normal.

Ocean temp at depth does f-ck all to influence climate.

Ocean absorption does.

I certainly did!

Are scientist redefining words? Unsure of proper usage of them?

Ocean absorption does.
Only the top 100m does. If it's dropping to depth there is no effect on climate.

When the heat is not in contact with atmosphere there is no effect on climate. You can look it up while looking up the gas hydrate cycle.

Right, so the absorption has an effect on climate....ergo the oceans do.

What about C02?

Did you did say the oceans have not warmed below 100m?

GAS hydrate cycle...is CO2 not a gas that can exist under pressure as a solid?

NO!!! I did not.

Okay, calm down.

You have admitted that heat taken out of the system effects climate.

Next, does C02 absorption by the oceans have an effect on climate?

How have the oceans warmed at depth then?
