Depends. Is there a potential for jobs? If yes then expect protests and track blockages by various native bands that think they deserve a piece of the action.

Hell yeah. Lots of jobs. BC ports already employ 40,000 people. It's all you have left after weed and tourism.

Weed sales are going to go for a $hit what with more enlightened countries legalizing it. Trust a government to destroy a perfectly good tax free enterprise by making it legal.
Next thing you know they will make automatic handguns mandatory and blow another lucrative business out of the water.
OTH the left would like very much to make transporting oil illegal creating a huge potential for the sale of 45 gallon drums.

It is more fun when you are getting a share of the profits.

You and I aren't gaining a nickel or leaving the Hill for a CEO job as a cherry ontop of kick as$ pensions. My MP is under 30, has never worked a real job and is set for life with MP pensions.

Go team!

I'm always buying sterling.

eBay.. Yesterday scored 211 gram sterling salt and pepper shakers for $22.51 That around $5 an oz with shipping.

Chaf-ckinching!

I'm aiming at a set of 5 candle sticks as we speak.

I could use a new outboard. $2K for starters.

We have a few old family heirlooms, sterling candlesticks, etc. which we are hanging onto. Value has gone up in the last few years.
Checking out e.bay, seems to be lots of .925 silver. Betcha a bunch of it is fake..........painted lead or somesuch. Some from China..... now THAT'S gotta be real.............

Best e.bay value ever for me was an old mandolin being sold as is, for parts, not working. Turned out to be an old Gibson oval A style which needed the back reglued. Sometimes one wins..

Anyone own a metal detector.? Treasure hunting might be a fun hobby.............lots of nickles at the beach ? ;-)

I bought pound upon pound of sterling scrap from eBay not one piece was fake. It's like any other commodity. If you don't know the product or market, learn it or stay away. There is good, easy money to be made and I see no reason to stop.

I realize this and I'm jealous over the Gibson. It's just an example of how easy it can be to invest in precious metals. In the end I'm hoping someone takes advantage of the opportunities. I'd be pickled tink if you made yourself 50%-500% tax free even if it were just $20 invested. It beats the hell out of putting taxed income into a taxable RRSP or other useless taxable investment.

Yep, for sure. But, the Gibson happened only once, and I sold it................albeit for a tasty profit...........a bit of capitalist in us all ?

It’s only when you step back and look at the labour market over a full year time frame that the problems really emerge, though. Compared to a year ago, Canada’s economy added just 72,000 net new jobs. How bad is that? Let’s put it in perspective. The average level of job creation for any 12 month period going back to 1977 is 214,000. Canada is creating jobs at just one-third the average rate of the last four decades.

It's getting harder for Harper to brag about his record on jobs - Macleans.ca

Could have been several thousand higher if we were allowed to build pipelines and terminals. What we need is a government that will not cave in to the demands of the extreme left.

We would easily have added 200k jobs if we counted the tards that are working without pay for the eco lobbies
Charity status means you get paid a draw for admin and free the labour from the duped. A lap around the park and call it a year. The rest is spent doing months of paperwork and spending money with the goal of 0 balance.
