I am quite tolerant G. You can have whatever image of some supreme being that rules your life you want. You just have to tolerate me laughing at your absolutely insane beliefs and poking fun at you for it. You also have to tolerate me continually reminding you that your belief is as false as the so-called prophets who came up with the story....but please go ahead and continue being foolish.

That is THE definition of intolerance.

Does not rule my life, and for that does not rule a number of peoples lives.
Why would you think that.
As to my belief being false, well only after death eh.
As to Creator, yep, I do believe.
Before their was nothing that was what? Right, nothing, OK go with that.
As to the teachings of Jesus, he spoke most often about the poor, the oppressed, those without. Do you have an issue with that?

Sometimes I like to go online and look at the pictures of the universe taken by the Hubble telescope. As I gaze at these beautiful pictures with all of the colors and lights and shapes, and the possibility that maybe there may be life somewhere out there , the pettiness of arguments like these is remarkable to me.

i feel exactly the same way when i watch the space craft circling the globe, as the astronauts explain
what it is like looking down on the earth, and the writing at the top of the picture, continuously shows what countries are
below at certain times, and the earth looks so beautiful, and i realize all of the billions of
people, and yes, at that exact moment, i also realize the pettiness of arguements like these, and
even more so, the uselessness of all of the wars, and the continuous bickering and fighting between
the countries. what a waste of time in the lives of all.

So is god black or white? Male or female? Is he a christian, a Jew or a muslim?

What are you attacking God for? Why don't you go on a Muslim website and attack Allah? Why don't you go and ask the Muslims whether or not Allah is Jewish or Christian? Whether or not he's black or white, and whether or not he's gay or staight? I'm sure they'd appreciate it.

Either that or those peace lovers will threaten to hunt you down and behead you for asking such bizarre questions.

This also leads to the question of does he/she have a sense of humour and if so is he/she sitting in whatever dimension laughing his/her a$$ off as we all argue and kill each other over who has the right image and laws of god?

In the end ALL RELIGIONS ARE USELESS DRIVEL TO CONTROL THE WEAK MINDED!

The right laws of God are the Ten Commandments.

No, I'm amused by the butthurt little boy who equates anybody objecting to something he says or does with it being "forbidden."

I too am amused at the inane mentality that is present relative to a law suit by the select few that are speaking on behalf of all atheists.

Sure is silly, ain't it?

I don't know what kind of mind equates getting pushback with being a victim of the Nazis, but it sure as shootin' don't understand the whole notion of freedom of speech.

Didn't take very long for you to invoke Nazism into this discussion.

Generally speaking, I interpret that as a strategy by one that no longer has a cohesive argument to offer

I have no issue with this either. From the link
"What is wrong with having a plaque that says ’atheists died here, too’?”

Makes you wonder why those that put up the cash for the legal action didn't apply those funds to an atheist memorial and request that the museum display it to represent those of their ilk that were victims in the event.

Maybe it has more to do with the notion that the nothingness of their position is a reflection in the nothingness of the action they have pursued

Yes, it is. I think it's a waste of time and arrogant a$$holism on the part of the plaintiffs.

Which doesn't change the fact that you consider complaints from private actors to be "forbidding" something.

You and Blackleaf are peas in a pod.

Apparently, you didn't get the memo.... Not every post in every thread is directed at you... Further, there is this new fangled thingy we call 'context '

Read up on this and then get back to me, m'kay

Apparently you didn't understand the memo. When you post on a public board, anybody can answer.

I know, they're "forcing" you to endure responses from people you may not be addressing. Poor poor you.

Context is wonderful. In what context is people disagreeing, berating, suing, boycotting, or whatever, "forbidding" something?

Jesus, it was a good thing the remaining members formed an iron cross and not a hammer or sickle.

Oh, and by the way, the "Nazi" thing? Do you really think anybody missed that you chose to render "forbidden" in German?

There's that context thingy again... For your comfort, please see below and might I suggest, you go back to the 2nd page and review? I see no reason that the entire string be copied for you to highlight this circumstance.

PS - Is any reference to the German culture, language or peoples now an automatic and certain identification with the Nazis?

Perhaps you can contact FIFA immediately and alert them to the reality that the Nazis are participants in the World Cup

Mein Gott im Himmel! That would never happen, would it?

When it's in the mouth of a butthurt Western right-winger who thinks that any disagreement with his sacred VEEE-SION for How Everything Should be, and refers to harsh or authoritarian practices or policies, then pretty much, yeah.

Perhaps you can contact FIFA immediately and alert them to the reality that the Nazis are participants in the World Cup
Or maybe the UN. Or maybe the Red Cross. Or anybody but the whiny butthurt, enit?
