So is god black or white? Male or female? Is he a christian, a Jew or a muslim? Maybe he/she is a buddist? This also leads to the question of does he/she have a sense of humour and if so is he/she sitting in whatever dimension laughing his/her a$$ off as we all argue and kill each other over who has the right image and laws of god?
In the end ALL RELIGIONS ARE USELESS DRIVEL TO CONTROL THE WEAK MINDED!
Maybe it's not possible. Christianity does not teach you to leave Jesus out of your life for any reason.

I am offended, affronted, upset and most of all saddened. The first three because I know this will only lead to more war and death over whose mysterious 'guy in the sky' is the greatest. Saddened because it is just sooooo depressing that billions of supposedly enlightened, educated and somewhat intelligent people still believe there is some bearded dude in the clouds who rules the universe and our lives.
It is time for the human collective to embrace science and freewill and shed the cloak of superstition and religious mysticism used to explain what used to be unexplainable but is now a matter of scientific fact.

What I know is that without religion man would find another reason to kill each other. Man has a problem with allowing others to co-exist. Man has self esteem issues on a murderous scale.

something that gives comfort to others. I suppose the atheists could put up a
festivis pole that might work out. Didn't the Muslims want to put up a Mosque

Prior to Democracies, Monarchies used the Church as their administrators of taxation, courts, health and education. The intent of that phrase only means that Govt would run those institutions and not the Church going back to the original Roman Republic with some even wanting to make Washington an Emperor.

People of differing religious briefs were murdered on that day. Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus.
A Cross should not be the only Religious symbol.
I think they, Atheists of course can foot the bill, and send this Atheist off where he can design a symbol representing Atheists.
Then let him get the rest of like minded Atheists to all agree on that 1 symbol.
Only 1 symbol allowed.

interesting symbols, none of them interest me though, i'm not into advertising 'not' believing, seems
kind of silly, but i'm not a group person, i just do what i do, i don't care what others do, or
what others believe or not, at least when it comes to religion or non religion, each to his/her own.
how can there be so many symbols for one 'non' belief', seems many groups decided what they want,
so, 'just don't believe', there is nothing else needed, no need to convince others, at least that
is my approach.
I am quite tolerant G. You can have whatever image of some supreme being that rules your life you want. You just have to tolerate me laughing at your absolutely insane beliefs and poking fun at you for it. You also have to tolerate me continually reminding you that your belief is as false as the so-called prophets who came up with the story....but please go ahead and continue being foolish.
