Another Problem fixed..........almost.

Got my bill the other day ....$68 overcharge for pay per view which I never use....

So I called them....and of course I get someone whose English is her second language since maybe last week....after trying in vain to make her understand and trying to understand what she is saying, I tell her only two words "English supervisor"......after repeating that a couple of times I get transferred to someone whose accent is Northern Ontario, and find out after a little chat that she used to live only about a hundred miles from Kap , and I find out that the order for the wrestling match I was supposed to have watched came by phone and the number that she relayed to me was a Toronto area number, but that the caller knew my home number which he/she had to know to be able to order a movie by phone, which they couldn't possibly watch since all three receivers are in my house.
Now it ended well for me, because she credited my account for the amount of $67.79, because as she could see I hadn't ordered a single pay per view in 14 years with Bell and she also disabled all future orders from my account.

I managed to match an address to that phone # and since I will be heading south shortly I may be paying that person a little visit...

If you're doing "visits" I have an address in Etobicoke where $3800 worth of shoes and Xbox crap was delivered after my credit card info was leached.

For that amount, I'd be sending the police.....

RBC says I'm not liable and they did file complaint but I know that won't stop the thieves.

What really pisses me off is I've used that card only three times. Twice to my bulk fuel agent and CARE Canada. It was one of the phone people at CARE who did it.

Now I can't trust CARE so now there are 4 kids who aren't going to get the help because I cancelled.

It wasn't me honest! I have done wresting orders for my son from Rogers but they did not fail to bill me.

I am thinking that they may have tried to order it for their account but somebody who didn't speak english too well attached it to the wrong account.

They probably had an equally funny experience with tech support as to why they were not getting their wrestling that night.

I know there are some gas stations which have had funky card readers on their pumps. Takes the info for the purchase but also takes enough to make a copy card. Are you sure it wasn't your bulk fuel agent?

It wasn't your phone # unless you changed it...
Heh heh I don't even watch wrestling for free, I certainly wouldn't pay for it....
BTW did you give any thoughts to installing XBMC hub on your computer? there are several ways you can connect to your TV to view on a big screen.....

Never even heard of it till I googled now. Not sure how much I would use it as my computer is in one room and the big screen is in another.

There is an advantage to having a bank debit card from a French "Caisse Populaire" ...
Every where I go when I put it in a machine.....the instructions are in French...
Last year in Mississauga at a corner store (I won't go into the ethnicity of the owners or several people will call me bigot or racist) but when the instructions came out in English for the only time in 20 some years, I pulled my card real quick and left.........

It pisses me off to no end that any Star Trek series is not available in Canada on Netflix.

Try XBMC Hub on your PC and if you can connect your TV you can watch all the old Star treks as much as you want.....

Here is a screen shot of what you can view...and I didn't go into the sub menus...... Google

If a card reader only takes approx 60-70 % of your card when inserting your debit card, it is a fake.
Stop and then cancel the card.
I know of 1 gas bar,1 employee, 500 plus K.

If using a card reader they still can't use it online without the three digit code on the back.

It's a debit card not Credit and I never entered the pin#
Even if they manage to reproduce the card...it's useless without the pin.....on the fourth try with the wrong pin the card is automatically cancelled....
