Abortion is a necessity for a civil society. You CAN NOT continually bring in unwanted babies into this world. You're living in fantasy land if you think great foster homes of loving parents are plentiful.

Why is it when it comes to Abortion we always trust the hospitals and Doctors.
Yet on many other things we do not.
Kinda odd way of selective thinking.

I'd trust the doctors and hospitals (whom are more of an expert on this subject) than churches and priests who assume what the will of God is based on a book written and revised countless times by humans.

Just to touch base on the thread header:

"Abortion -The poll is not based upon Religious belief - It is based ethics"

Ethics are subjective to the individual and many people base their subjective ethics on their religious beliefs.

Subject header is flawed.

Wow, talk about twisting things to an agenda.

Any woman can have sex when ever and where ever she wants with as many men/women she wants. That is her choice. That being said, when she has made that choice, of her own free will, then if she get's pregnant because of the CHOICE that she made, the RESPONSIBLE thing to do is NOT kill the baby, because at that point she is no longer talking about JUST her body but in fact is affecting the very life of another individual.

Speaking of twisting things for an agenda.

A fetus is not an "individual" nor is it a "Baby" and it's not even a "Human Being" which is recognized as one and therefore covered by basic "Human Rights."

It's not an individual because it entirely relies on its host mother for everything such as food energy, blood, oxygen, etc.

It is not a baby because it hasn't even been born yet.

It is not a Human Being because it hasn't even been born yet and a Human Being is defined by being born. If you are not delivered and take your first breath and show consciousness, you are not a Human Being.

Her right to choose doesn't stop based on your beliefs. You don't own other people and you can't choose for them what they do and how based on your beliefs to make you feel better about the world a little bit. You can only choose for yourself on what you do and how with your own body.

Where the narcissism comes in, is when a woman uses the excuse that she doesn't want to carry through with the pregnancy because of what changes will be happening to her body. Stretch marks, weight gain, inconvenience, etc.

Irrelevant, it's her body, her right and doesn't have to justify her reasons to you.

When the CHOICE is made to have fun, then he, and she SHOULD be thinking about ALL the possible consequences of their actions. Pregnancy is one, and if they are willing to take that chance, then they should be willing to be responsible and follow through.

But they don't have to, nor should they have to.

You act as though there are no consequences in abortion. There are consequences for every choice in life and it's not just a simple decision for anybody. With the decision to abort or the decision to keep a pregnancy going to term and raising that child (or even giving it up for adoption) those decisions are something you have to live with for the rest of your life.

After you have "pulled the trigger" it's a little late to go "changees", we aren't talking about a game here anymore.

Nobody ever was.
