I think NYR will win their game 6 but it won't be without pressure. Maybe that's what they missed last night. It seems winning the fourth game is often the hardest, when the other team has their back to the wall. Vignault is pretty good at regrouping his team with a well thought out game plan. And if Lundquist is on his game, which I suspect he will be, this one might be the toughest game for Montreal this post season. While I think Tokarski has been pretty good he hasn't been a game changer. He will need to be next game if they plan to play game 7.
The Habs have shown to be a pretty tenacious group. What they lack in size they make up for in hard work. When a game flows the way they want it to they are a formidable challenge to anyone. The winner of game 6 will be who wins the small battles, especially those behind the goal lines. Montreal feeds their momentum by out working opponents on the forecheck. Yet, Vignault's teams can be pretty good at boxing out pressure in front of the net and moving the puck out of harm's way from behind it. It will be interesting to see who wins the chess match.
if 'both' teams play their very best, rangers should come out on top, great goalkeeping, 'better' defense,
and they are faster, but of course that doesn't include 'lucky bounces', which are a big pArt of the game,
and can determine an outcome, then if game comes to overtime, any team can win, doesn't matter any more
about the history of the game.
subban is very young, and he is also attracts the attention of the opposition 'fans', which does put more
pressure on him, not fair, but it does happen, and he is a player who demands a big part in the game.
personally, if i were coach, i would 'not' give him the captaincy, as i would put that responsibility onto
a different player, and just let subban play the game.
sure he is a dynamic player, but that doesn't automatically cry captain, a captain
in my mind, is a more mature, less emotional player, who is very intelligent, eg.
henrik sedin. a similar comparison could be kesler compared to henrik, similar,
not the same, just to make my point.
