yup, he's finished.

What else would you expect him to say?

She is trying to bait him into a discussion about something that serves no purpose. The government can't enforce a law about subjective reasons why people choose to do something.

By finished, do you mean that legislation you'll never get?

I mean he has lost more than he thinks, and I doubt he will become PM. He will go down as a flash in the pan in the History of Canada. No where near the man his Father was.

I highly doubt he'll drop by any significant margin but we'll see.

Who is going to care? The extreme social conservatives that don't vote for him anyways?

That simply isn't possible. Nobody can ever chose if they are born or not, and they can't go back and change that later. You are born or you are not. End of story.

That's just plain dumb, if you are born and in a cognizant state and don't like it you can always "take a long walk off a short pier"- if you've been terminated before birth you can't change anything.

I'm willing to bet you don't like his father much either, so why do you care?

People love to attack superficial aspects of JT, but if you look at what he is doing, he is really transforming the party to be more modern and competitive.

In recent years, the party was more about high minded ideals, they didn't want to offend anyone, and were not really willing to get down in the mud. The Conservatives were more than willing to stoop to that level and they kicked the Liberals *** because of it.

JT has dramatically increased fundraising, been very hands on in getting the candidates that he wants, and has come out with a number of policy decisions like on the Senate and aborition that are purely calculated political moves. He has made lots of people mad, but as the Conservatives have shown, that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

If you kill yourself later on in life, it doesn't change the fact that you were born.

But at least you have the opportunity/pleasure of doing it, which is a helluva lot better than someone else making a presumptuous decision.

Is that a fact? You really haven't been paying attention, have you?

Paying attention to what?

Yup, once again proving that you don't pay attention and really don't have a clue.

Again, paying attention to what? If you are expecting me to memorize your opinion of each PM, it isn't going to happen.

You are ignoring the most basic concept here. Committing suicide is in no way the same as never being born. You can't chose if you are born or not. You never have been able to do that. And killing yourself later on in life does not change the fact that you were born.

These are two completely different issues that you are trying mash together to make your own political views make sense.

Well, I am going on the assumption that it is better to be born than not born. I think a fair number would agree! -:)

That simply isn't up to you. If someone had knocked on your parents door when they were about to get down to business making you, you could have never been born. A different sperm would have made a different baby.

I have stated over and over again, I live in Harpers riding and have never, nor will I ever, vote for him. I have stated over and over again that I have voted Liberal, federally, pretty much my entire life. I have stated that I consider PET to be one of the best PM's this country has had. At 55 years of age I am now being forced to change the horse I have been riding forever by an unthinking, inconsiderate, murder supporting, brainless twat.

The majority of my family has also supported the Liberals for years, they also are now flashing the finger at jt and looking to cast their vote elsewhere.

Now, if you had been paying attention you would not have made the stupid assumptions that you made.

oh brother, now suicide is dragged into this thread. so, are you saying if someone wants to commit suicide,
go ahead, take that long walk? i wonder how much of the people's money is spent on suicide prevention,
doesn't really matter to me, i think the money being spent on both abortions and suicide prevention is worthwhile, abortions will happen anyway, legal or illegal, so i think they should be
clean and sterile and safe for the pregnant woman.

That perfectly demonstrates the folly of backing any political party on a sustained basis. I was a staunch N.D.P. supporter for 30 years, mistakenly thinking they supported the working man when in fact they supported the parasites, drones and sh*t disturbers and never did support any type of work ethic.

Lol, again, I am not going to memorize your political views. I am going to comment on what is in front of me. If you think it is stupid to assume that a social conservative from Alberta probably wasn't a huge fan of PET, that is your prerogative.

It is definitely important to scrutinize who you are voting for as much as you can. You don't just want to vote for a name, you want to make sure that your views are represented.

And the person you vote for may well just be the tip of the "iceberg". A lot of crap can go on among his underlings that he won't or can't control.
