....unless you are depending on a revolver to defend your life.

Do you spend a lot of time sitting around thinking of stupid things to say, or does it just come naturally??

What are you defending yourself from that you need to shoot 16 time in 4 seconds?

What are the odds that you are wearing an ammo belt when you need to defend yourself?

Be realistic, this pretty much is exactly like a hot dog eating contest. He is just showing how fast he can do something for the sake of showing how fast he can do something.

Northern Ontario,
A while back, my brother in law asked me....."What kind of pleasure can you get from trying to put as many holes as you can, as close to the center of a piece of paper at 20yd??"
Instead of telling him that it was all about relaxation, and trying to do better that the last time you practiced, I answered him with the same kind of stupid question he asked me.....
"What kind of pleasure do you get out of watching a bunch of grown men, on ice, chasing a chunk of rubber....or watching guys walking all over a well groomed lawn after a little ball while an announcer talks in a low voice telling you what they are doing while you obviously can see it for yourself??"
He was a hockey enthusiast sometimes watching two games at the same time.....and he enjoyed watching the golf pros.....And he never played in either sports.......

For a wheel gun that is lightning fast.
I like S&W always have.
I have had one for years.
586 with Pachmayr grips and a custom trigger tune.
The thing is built like a Swiss watch.

Good Lord!

A quick reload is essential in the use of the revolver in combat.

This guy has taken that skill to a level that is almost beyond belief.............it is like watching a sniper hit a chest-sized target 2,000 meters away.....not something the normal man will ever be able to do, but something to aspire to.....he demonstrates what is possible.

I trained armoured car guards back in the day, and we carried 6 shot revolvers, with two speed loaders.

I could load pretty damn quick, but not like this guy.

Yeah, I own a 6 shot "Canadian" 686 .357 Magnum (Stainless, with a 4 1/4"bbl), and it is a wondrous bit of machinery.

Powerful, accurate, dependable.

It could use a trigger job......

And very few people are.

I did, for many years.

Seven million Americans are licensed to carry, and millions more carry in areas that do not require a license.

That is slightly more than a "few"..............although the vast majority now carry semi-automatics.

2% of the population. So I was right.

It's one of those silly, pointless records like those that involve eating as many hamburgers as possible in three minutes, or the world's longest motorbike wheelie.

This Miculek guy just wanted to get on YouTube.

1. Lotsa bad guys.

2. Your own poor aim.

3. A super-villian who's immune to 15 shots, but somehow vulnerable to the 16th.

What are the odds that you are wearing an ammo belt when you need to defend yourself?
For Colpy? Pretty high, actually. I suspect he wears an ammo belt in the shower.

Especially since you can get 16 rounds out of an automatic without reloading at all.

Lol, "combat" sounds a bit different than "self defense".

Obviously being able to reload efficiently has value, just as being able to eat at a reasonable pace has value too.

Legendary announcer George Shea of the famous Nathan's hot dog eating contest:

Mr Shea is quite a show man and always makes a great presentation. Nathan's company donates over 100,000 hot dogs to charity every year - lots of poor kids benefit from the generosity of the Handwerker family and their company. Therefore, the contest makes lots of sense.

As for the quick reload contest - that takes quite a skill since those guns normally have a strong recoil. I guess points are awarded on accuracy which makes such contests even more challenging.
