Yeah, for that little gaffe she should definitely be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail. -![]()
It was unprofessional.

Baals poses the following question for his friend Born Ruff:
How do you know this is clearly something that "would never have happened?"
After all, it is the Republican Party that opposes deficit fincancing, and which supports sequestration of spending including, but not limited to, military spending.
Do you follow US politics at all?
Have you seen the recent freak out over the proposed 2015 budget that would reduce the size of the US Army?
Have you taken a look at the "Ryan Budget" that the house of representatives just passed? While the whole point of that exercise is for the Republicans to show off what they would cut if they had the chance, the budget actually contains an increase in military spending.
That's merely political posturing for partisan advantage...it's not real. The greatest sentiment among the Republican/Libertarian base is isolationist and focused on a small govt. A small govt. isn't able to maintain large standing military forces. Rand Paul is the voice of those folks.
US Health Insurance is a Scam!!!
Obamacare / Blue Cross wants me to pay $360/mo, with deductibles and co-pays..
Now I get a staph infection, I need to get it lanced, cleaned out and prescription of antibiotics. $130 covers the total cost..
So I fell sick once in 5 months..
If only a staph infection was the most expensive thing that could happen to you.
You are talking about how to get people to vote on a healthcare bill. I showed you exactly how republicans are voting on issues like this. They are voting against cuts and for increases in military spending.
That is not just posturing, that is how they vote, which is explicitly what the issue is here.
It doesn't matter if there are some people in the country who would support that. We are talking about actually passing a bill in congress.
...
There is a struggle going on within the conservative/libertarian movement between the establishment and insurgents. That's why Speaker Boehner is in danger of losing his position. The greatest sentiment among the Republican/Libertarian base is isolationist and focused on a small govt. A small govt. isn't able to maintain large standing military forces. Well under Obamacare, you can buy it when you need it and can't be refused..
Why would you just copy and paste the same post? I answered you already.
Can you? I thought you had to buy it during enrollment periods?
You would also face fines for not having health insurance, so this isn't really a fool proof plan.
You posted a response between the time of my original post and my modification of the original post. You didn't respond to my revised post. Now is your opportunity to do so.
You changed the preamble, but the point is the same.

No the modificaton changed the post fundamentally. Please respond to the modified post. Thank you for your cooperation.
I am missing your point here. What is the limit we adhere to? And I have never heard of a patient needing to seek out professionals and staff and ask them to donate their time.
You said you have used the medical here in Canada quite a bit...were you told you were on a budget with your doctors or specialists?
Lol, yeah, just "adjust" the population to a manageable size.
Seriously though, they hire more staff, buy more physical resources, or and use what they have more efficiently.
It is like any other business, you scale based on the supply and demand.
a recent poll shows obamacare with more people demanding its expansion -
New Poll Shows Voters in Red States Want to Expand Medicaid - The Daily Beast
According to new polling by Public Policy Poling conducted for MoveOn, in voters support Medicaid expansion in key states by wide margins: 52 to 35 percent in Kansas, 58 to 33 percent in Florida, 59 to 30 percent in Pennsylvania, 54 to 38 percent in Georgia. All are states where Medicaid expansion has been blocked by Republican politicians. In Virginia, where the GOP has also blocked Medicaid expansion, a previous poll found that even a majority of state Republican voters support extending coverage for the state’s low-income residents. One academic study suggests that of those 5 million, 10,000 Americans will die this year alone due to lack of insurance.
That really is a point that the republicans are going to have a tough time defending.
I don't know how long they can stick to their guns on that one.
If only a staph infection was the most expensive thing that could happen to you.
**** sakes man, just respond to my post or drop it. My response is the same no matter what narrative you put around the central point.
Some hypothetical future change in the republican party has no bearing on how the republicans actually vote today and 4 years ago when the bill was passed.
I would be all for reducing military spending to fund healthcare, but the fact is that that would not have increased republican support for the bill and it would have scared off most of the democrats too.
