we have one here who hates the USA and Canada by using Russian propaganda which he believes over everything else, one who thinks on another plane and one who gets offended when the others have to prove what they are saying by using facts not some Russian news reel.
It is not perfect here gentlemen and no one says it is but what is evident is that none of you have any clue what it is like in either Russia or Ukraine except for what you choose to read which at best is very selective.
This is not a joke nor is it funny when the world is faced with an aggressive person like Putin. Everyone in Russia does not agree with him but you will not hear that on their news because he controls the media there and if you had or have paid attention the propaganda has been turned up to the max in Russia. Now we are talking about Russia for it seems to get confused here. Ukraine has for 5 years been under a man who has torn Ukraine apart , reversed the decision to allow the Russian Black Sea Fleet into Crimea . He and his son have stolen businesses , money and land with Putin saying what a great President he was as Putin does the same in Russia had you been reading and following the last 5 years and in Russia the last 10.
Talk to people there as most speak english and ask them yourselves.
Few years back Russia attacked Georgia and annexed land there as big bad Georgia and their huge army were a threat to Russian speaking people and Russian sovereignty . The US stepped in and stopped further incursion .
Not much was said but Russia keeps those parts right or wrong , depends who you talk to or believe.
Now Ukraine after 5 years , the people had enough , they did not need us or the US to tell them they needed a change , they were pushed to the edge by their own President. Russia see's that as a threat , NATO, freedom,free speech , god forbid that should get around Russia and ruin a good thing for Putin.
Now in all this what happens is families friends , relatives are divided by what the need for some man who wants to bring Russia back to it's former glory namely the USSR. Most of us old enough remember what it felt like to have that over your head . Now for those who hate Canada and the USA and believe Russia is righteous
consider this...when was the last time Russia gave the world a helping hand through disasters and offered aid or forgave debts incurred through a world war or opened their doors for refugees when they needed it most .
I not only write here but also write and call my MP and ministers monthly and I write here to bring awareness to problems that others may do the same because doing nothing and understanding nothing is not an option for me

You are correct in your assessment that we can't really know what it's like if we're not living the experience. That is precisely why questions will be made of you. When you accept a question as a challenge to your expertise or an insult to your intelligence, you alienate yourself - which lends nothing to credibility. Belligerence leads only to more belligerence. Should you understand this as "fightin' talk", so be it. Your loss.
So what gives you the right to decide what the Citizens of Crimea can or can't do? When is the last time any Russian made any comments about how Canada runs things, like our famous reservations for a conquered people, how much longer are we going to abuse them, another 100 years or more? How many letters you write about their plight? None is the right answer, right?

Does he know that the ones he is going to visit have been to the US, GB, France and who knows were else? If that is the same plane that was involved in the funeral then this is going to cost a bundle.
