Exactly, there is no way to know for sure how much money someone has , and most will inflate the amount they have.

Even the most conservative estimates suggest that he has more money than he could ever need. Beyond that, what does it really matter?

Companies that bear his name have gone through bankruptcy, but all that he would have lost is his personal stake in that particular company. The guy has allowed his name to be slapped on countless different companies.
HE has never declared personal bankruptcy. He has declared some of his business ventures bankrupt.
The money he earns from The Apprentice is pocket change.
The guy is worth $3.2 Billion... #423 on Forbes Billionaires list in 2013.
He files for corporate bankruptcy not personal.

I like how they point out that even his penchant for over the top self promotion turned out to be a shrewd business move.
When his casino company went bankrupt, they couldn't push him out because his name was slapped on every inch of the properties. Getting rid of him would mean removing his name from everything and that would cost too much.
