So Bapitists are not necessarily Christian?

Gawd has a son? Or, is the son his own father? Was the "Our Father" a prayer to himself? Angels? Devils? Sounds like a pantheon to me.

Baal is in the Bible. Asherah is in the Bible. The sons of gods are in the bible. So, the Bible is not always the unerrant word?

The book is stuffed full of Gods. Lucifer is my favourite, he turned the lights on, eh.

All Baptists are not necessarily saved. All Lutherans are not necessarily saved. All Catholics are not necessarily saved. Sitting in a pew doesn't guarantee salvation. One must be born again.

Yes, The Trinity IS. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Tell me. Why is it to imagine a space alien with powers and abilities beyond human capabilities, but to think God different from us is near impossible? I can see it coming. You're going to make a crack about aliens and God. Well, I opened the door on that one.

I do not understand your comment - "Baal is the Bible".

Aside from all that. Ponder this. This very day, the Holy Spirit has sent witnesses to you. He picked you this very day as well as other days in your life to bring you the Good News. Harden Not Your Heart. I was once lost and did not realize it. The Holy Spirit IS. I am not trying to put up a fight with you. I am not trying to be a self-righteous pig. I am a stinking sinner that was grabbed by the Holy Spirit one day. It was not my choice or my "path".

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
was blind, but now I see.

2. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
and grace my fears relieved;
how precious did that grace appear
the hour I first believed.

3. Through many dangers, toils, and snares,
I have already come;
'tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
and grace will lead me home.

4. The Lord has promised good to me,
his word my hope secures;
he will my shield and portion be,
as long as life endures.

5. Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
and mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
a life of joy and peace.

6. When we've been there ten thousand years,
bright shining as the sun,
we've no less days to sing God's praise
than when we first begun.

You are conceived by a fusion event between semen and an egg the ignition device is a tiny spark of plasma from his holiness Old Sol, you are not an result of faith you are a result of demonstratable quantifiable work. Grace not born of wisdom is not grace it's faith. The Egyptians knew the power of Christ before a christian church was ever dreamed of.
Dark, Don't you know that God created your inmost being;
He knit you together in my mother’s womb.
Are you by any chance an electrician?

Holy Cow. Talk about a Typo! Turns out we are brother and sister darkbeaver!

The above should read as

God created your inmost being;
He knit you together in YOUR mother's womb.

God is my innermost being, that spark I mentioned, I will be born again when I can work with his tools, just like it was at home in the lake of fire. Our mother is matter our father is the spark. I am electrically operated. Is there any other way?

and who decides if someone has been "born again" and what are the requirements?
Gerryh,
Rely on Scripture. If someone is giving you a list of requirements in order to "born again", I would not pay that person any mind.

You wish to be known as Satan? You are indeed a puzzling fellow.

Maybe yes, maybe no.

"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1 NIV)

Since you won't answer in your own words, I have no choice to accept spades assessment of you and stick by my original assessment of you being a hypocrite.

I am sorry to hear that you have no choice, Gerry. There is freedom in Christ.

See, there's the problem. I have accepted Christ as my savior. It's the blind, like yourself, that keep saying I haven't.

Et*cvm*spiritv^tvo

"Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort. Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified." (1 Corinthians 14:1-5 NIV)

If you're going to speak in tongues, Spade, there needs to be an interpreter present : )

gerryh: I don't think Motar said you have not accepted Jesus as your savior.

haven't.

Do you remember this post by you from the Christianity and Religion thread, Gerry?

"As for "biblical references", read the fu cking thing yourself. I doubt it will make any difference. All you dip shytes want to do is separate man into the ones that go to Heaven and those that God hates and will drop into the fiery bowels of Hell :roll: , all the while the "good and faithful" squeal with glee at the suffering inflicted on those that they feel "deserve" it.'

Christ would never speak in this way.

"...because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving." (Ephesians 5:3b-4 NIV)

Recall this Scripture that I posted earlier in this thread.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." (John 15:5-8 NIV)

What type of fruit does Christianity produce?

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23 NIV)

It is the response to "Dominvs*Vobiscvm" The Lord (be) with you. It translates "And with thy spirit."

“Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.” (2 Corinthians 13:1b NIV)

Biblically-speaking, you demonstrate by translating your own tongue that it is not a valid message from God, Spade.
