Once an organization becomes quite large they end up not questioning their original goals, how they worked towards solving issues with people, and end up becoming what they cannot tolerate- Intolerant
Could GLADD have addressed the issue in a positive way?

What it seemed to me is, a straight guy that can't understand the interest in an al sex when a vag ina is so much nicer. That would be his personal opinion and since you are so uptight about it, I gather you disagree with him and avail yourself of an al sex on a regular basis.
The problem is that Christians profess to follow the New Testament, but pick and choose what they like from the Old Testament.

The Bible was written by people long after Christ died and or left the planet.
The Bible has been written more than once and it has likely changed from
time to time to create the needs of those in power at the time. First Rome
was against the Christians then they adopted their program for the sake of
expediency. Much like the Green movement being hijacked by the companies
to sell more fridges.
I am not anti Bible by any means but I get suspicious when one group is singled
out for death sentences and other ghastly things that Christ would not agree with.
I don't have a problem with Jesus I have a problem with some who claim they
represent him or the are doing his work and then behave like nasty rabid animals
condemning others. The one thing I hope comes to some good is the present Pope
for the first time in decades they have someone who is going to comand some
respect cause he deserves it.

Keep in mind, Phil Robertson is not one of those rabid condemning types and that this thread is about him.

I consider myself to be a Christian (although far from perfect and a bit of a hypocrite at times) not because of what I believe, but I try to do unto others...................... . There is quite a bit of stuff from both testaments that I have trouble with, some of which contradicts scientific and mathematical laws. You can't be all things to all people. If my grand daughter was to tell me that she is pregnant and she's a virgin I'd have trouble with that, as I do with the "immaculate birth". You can't suck and blow at the same time. I also found that feeding my entire family from a can of sardines doesn't work worth a damn either.
It's been years since I attended any of those either. No sense just looking for misery.
"Tall stories" from the O.T.- Noah and the Ark- There's details there that I question, some with Jonah and the Whale. The parting of the Red Sea could be explained by a major earthquake I suppose.

Again, learn to read. I never said anything wasn't in the bible. I said that homosexuality is really not mentioned much compared to other topics. If you think I am not correct, explain why.
Again though, you are refusing to consider his statements as a whole. He made both sets of comments, not just one. Together, it really seems like a person who has homophobic views and is using the bible to try to legitimize it.
Honestly though, being straight doesn't mean you have to go around telling people how disgusting you find their sex lives. I mean, most of my partners have been white, but it doesn't mean I have to feel like I can't imagine how someone else could have sex with a black person, and I certainly don't need to go around telling everyone that.
Did anyone ever think this wouldn't happen? Nobody seriously believed that they would kick him off the show. It is worth too much money.

The part about god spewing men who sleep with men is one you all choose to follow, selling your daughters into slavery is one you ignore. No more blood sacrifices either, or do you still do that? Oh I suppose you ignore that one too. Jesus never said anything about homosexuality, all he said was to love one another as yourself, and turning the other cheek, etc.
Oh and it was Christians who convinced me that there is no god.
