The World Cup of the world's most brutal sport after boxing - Rugby League - is taking place in England and Wales and, in cricket, the Ashes is about to get underway in Australia.

Yet you lot are more interested in the fact that some team with a childish name playing a girly sport that nobody outside America is interested in has just won a sporting event inaccurately called the "World" Series.
