This is the trouble that permeates all levels of Canadian politics. Whether it be elected or appointed officials, employees or contractors, the government job has become synonymous with "easy money", and the people of honour and integrity that we need to change this status quo don't want to have anything to do with the cesspool that is Canadian politics. Did you know that the word "politics" is derived from the latin "poly", meaning "many", and "tic", a blood-sucking parasite ?
