In your ideological world which business don't do anything for you?
Is the correct answer; Any business not approved by Suzuki?

Have you ever noticed how some conservatives think we must support all business, even business that does nothing for us? Business leaders are the ultimate communists - "support 'Our Great Collective' (but don't talk about wages and benefits, you commie)".
So, you are like a politician? Why did you think i meant placer mining?
Just look at how many mills have gone. We as a group have managed to kill the goose that laid the golden egg. There is more than enough blame to go around too. Greedy unions, greedy foreign owners, greedy politicians, federal, provincial, and most importantly municipal all with both hands in the cookie jar. Topped off with a slew of regulations from numerous levels of government have made it unprofitable to operate a mill in BC.
Nanaimo forest products is making money and they don't even own their fiber supply. SO is Nucel Same with Catalyst since their restructuring.Geez, you're as bad as Petros, just moving from one subject to the next. Demand for pulp is down globally. The only ones making money right now are Asian and South American kraft producers, and they aren't making much. You need to factor global supply and demand into your picture.
Voucher schools are a conservative idea aimed at allowing them to control education. We have seen what the results of that are in the US, Bubba meets Alfred E. Neumann.
Have you ever noticed that leftards think everything to run their cities just automatically appears without using any resources? You do realize that the only reason resources are extracted in remote places is because of the demand for them created by cities? Believe me we would not be freezing our azzes off in the middle of nowhere if there was not a demand for the resources.
Do you expect government agencies to do all this for you while you collect welfare in your parent's basement?
Strange that. very few jurisdictions in the USA use the voucher system, that system being more common in European and other countries. In Sweden, one of those countries that is often thought of as among the most progressive in the world, has one nationwide.
In the case of Sweden, the linguist Tove Skutnabb-Kangas of Denmark was one of its most ardent promoters arguing not form an economic standpoint, but rather in terms of the advantage it would give the indigenous Saami and Finnish minorities in Sweden in establishing teir own free schools. The idea was that a traditional local school board will naturally cater to the dominant ethnic group, whereas school vouchers allow the minority ethnic groups to establish their own schools where possible.
So it would seem your idea of school vouchers being a uniquely Republican thing is not well-researched.

That has very little to do with the problem. We have the raw materials and export them because processing costs are lower elsewhere. Even some of our pulp mills have been exported. Alos there are other uses for pulp logs besides paper.
Nobody is using paper anymore?

First, there is a "red - " that I put in by mistake. Sorry. One of those unpredictable shift in screen contents ended up with me clicking something I didn't mean to. If a mod could please delete it, that would be great.
Second, I didn't know that (your post). Interesting. Many things can be innocuous or helpful depending on who does them.
