Just another lame attempt to use kangaroo courts to stifle free speech in Canada. When levant wins is persicuters should be forced to foot his legal bill.
You've never had he right to defame and libel someone. The news walks a fine line when reporting facts. Levant crosses that line by 'reporting' opinion.

Here's a perfect illustration of why Levant will never endingly be in court for libel cases. He's got a grievance with someone, and he has a newspaper to be able to disparage them, tell his readers what their motivations, emotions, and intentions are. Regardless of the reality of the situation. He's a mouthpiece with a platform, and just enough rope to hang himself.
The news is NOT Canadian Content. It is NOT Twitter. It is NOT an argument on the internet, yet, it's being drug down to that level. 'Reporters', 'journalists', are forgetting how to do their job, and instead slipping into the internet argument mentality. And yes, if any one of us had an open identity, and a platform to affect fellow posters' lives, we'd probably have seen a libel case or two by now as well.
