They are doing pretty good destroying each other. Everyone is flocking to Syria to kill each other. I never thought I'd see the day when just about every group is represented and fighting each other.

FSA vs SAA
Al Queda vs Hezbollah
Al Queda vs FSA
Islamists vs Secular

The list goes on and on. It is Beruit again on a nationwide scale. Money is coming in from everywhere as well as troops. It is brutal and grinding. I listened to NPR and the consensus seems that the SAA cannot stop the rebellion and the Rebels can't topple Assad.

Good luck to them all.

Were you deeply concerned about the tens of thousands dying in Syria before Obama started making noise?

I wonder if many know that Syria is well into the second year of their civil war.

It recently made headlines because Obama wanted to scramble the rubble around.

Regime change for the US and Canada, like should have happened some decades ago, you know back when they were bumping off the last good President.

So you'd feel a Syria like rebellion would be better served here in the US and Canada?

There is no civil war in Syria. Subtract the filthy western inspired and hired cutthroats and the Israeli war against Syria ends, oh I meant international communities war. Lots of voices here think the bloodbath is good for them, I guess maybe it's always like that till it gets to your town.

My point was about outside intervention and firing the Federal government doesn't have to be a full on gun battle. That would be phase ii if they refused to step aside when the 'voters' fired them (and their families). If America is so hot to fund a revolution fund you own first.

Already done, in case you haven't heard. There are a quarter of a billion guns in private hands in the U.S.
Until it starts making noise it is just a decoration. Trust me on this, my chain-saw is a more effective tool when it is making noise.

More like a confession that he doesn't care about the trials and tribulations of children in any area that isn't an active war zone.

No, I don't think expressio unius applies here. I think he's just going to generic to avoid admitting that he doesn't even know all of the conflict zones in the world, and therefore cannot possibly care about all the children in conflict zones, except in some sort of fuzzy "I care about everybody" sense.
