Hmm... so would it be worse to be a *big* prick?
Size matters.

Anyway, define the term "insufferable". I've never understood it.
Beyond bearing or enduring.

Is it supposed to mean one feels no pain? Does it mean one feels no guilt?
Asked and answered.

If I beat myself with a lash while groveling before an avatar of Christ, does that make me "sufferable"?
No, it makes you a fool. But a funny one.

Anyway, given how the trouble in Syria is fundamentaly sectarian Sunni-against-Shi'ia based, being fueled by poverty and boredom, like when Protestants and Catholics were attacking each other in northern Ireland, an idea keeps popping into my head...

... Yes, in an ideal world Uncle Sam would not be meddling in the middle-east, but his Wall Streeters are too chicken-sh*t low-vision non nation-minded to think about investing in energy self-sufficiency, and you'd think he'd at least just buy the oil and go like he does with those tin-pot tyrants in Nigeria, but Israel plopped themselves right in the middle of it, and they control all his banks.

So... if you're going to be meddling, why not go all the way?

Arabs are already accustomed to moving around and re-settling as refugees, so why not just divide the middle-east into three parts: east of the Tigris-Euphrates for Shi'ites, west of the Tigris-Euphrates for Sunnis, and the land between those two rivers for the normal objective rational Arabs who don't give a rat's a*s about denomination... the ones who just want to do business and live a comfortable life, thus turning the land between the two rivers into Arabia's greatest free-enterprise zone?

It's not like mass migration/relocation based on theology hasn't happened before. Who can forget how Pakistan and India split?

Speaking of which... hmm... how come Hindu and Muslims were okay living around each other on that subcontinent before the Brits showed up, but after British influence, tens of millions of Muslims and Hindu had to start hating each other and migrating in order to form separate nations?
Will Canada lead the way in this bold new project?

Look, I understand your negative attitude towards Russia.

The Ukraine had to put up with years of heavy-handed rule by the Russians after being pummeled by Germany in WWII but they never caved. They want freedom and they are still trying to throw off Russia's shackles. They are a proud people who have been given a bad lot for decades.

However, don't come onto a forum pretending to be some super intellect and trying to insult others intelligence.. you're not that brilliant.

Maybe you do have a degree from your home country, there are plenty of people from India, Russia, Africa with fancy degrees driving taxi's and working as dish washers in Canada. ;)

Bragging to people on the Internet how your job is so much better.. yea, pls. bro.

Actually, I have zero negative attitude towards Russians. They are a wholesome people.

What I do know is that after some interaction, I decided lots of trade is possible, but in the mean time it would be wize to stay armed.

The Ukraine had to put up with years of heavy-handed rule by the Russians after being pummeled by Germany in WWII but they never caved.
Not sure how the Ukraine got pulled into this discussion, but the Ukranians I know divide themselves between eastern and western Ukranians, and the eastern Ukranians think they are the true "Russians".

I think they want to be as big as Russia so they can be equivalently "strong".

However, don't come onto a forum pretending to be some super intellect and trying to insult others intelligence.. you're not that brilliant.
Huh? What did I say to make it sound like I was trying to pretend I was super-intelligent? By "Brave New World" standards I think I'm beta.

Okee dokee... point me to the post where I did that.

Are you talking about the one where I said if we traded jobs, I'd get killed but you'd be fired into poverty?

If so... wow.

So... if I were in Palestine (the part of Israel walled off for Palestinians), that would cause a fight?

I was actually just excercising my writing... seeing if I could trigger a reaction.

In the mean time, I've been thinking about overpopulation and how it would work if we developed worm-holes to planets matching the environment people are accustomed to.

Every Ukranian around Edmonton can tell you everything.

Yes.. maybe I took away the wrong interpretation to that, if so, I apologize.

Like... suppose I were to open a worm-hole gate to another planet with an environment like southern Alberta/Northern Montana, and were to say to Blackfeet, "Here you go, a planet all unto yourselves".

What if all that time actually the Blackfeet wanted something better?

!!!!! Geezus... that's rare.

It means I bow and apologize too.

Speaking of bowing, did you ever see how Obama botched his bow before the Emperor of Japan?

You're supposed to go down calmly with eye contact, never letting the level of head rise high-or-lower than rank.

What he was supposed to do was bow calmly and make sure his head was 1/4 inch above their heads, so that it was still know who is more powerfull, but that the conquerer respects.

Well the level to qualify is quite low.

The Peace Prize reached a low point with Obama.
Considering how Japan has been doing for the last few years there may have been at least one bigger low.

The Nobel Peace Prize 2005

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Mohamed ElBaradei

"for their efforts to prevent nuclear energy from being used for military purposes and to ensure that nuclear energy for peaceful purposes is used in the safest possible way"

If a chem test was done on the chemicals turned in (quickly)that would show if they were used as the active agents. Is this going to be another hanging in the morning and trial in the afternoon?
http://www.naharnet.com/stories/en/98264-ban-to-present-key-syria-chemical-weapons-report
Ban will unveil the findings of a U.N. investigation team to the U.N. Security Council in New York at 11:15am (1515 GMT). He has already revealed that he expects the report to provide "overwhelming" confirmation that chemical arms were used in an attack near Damascus on August 21 in which hundreds died.

Where have you been, MHz. I've been worried.
Following a different clown show than this one with the 'impartial' UN in Syria. lol

(in part)
"Surface-to-surface rockets containing the nerve agent sarin were used" in the August 21 attack, said the report.
While Assad blames opposition rebels for the attack, Western nations say only the government has such weapons.
"The environmental, chemical and medical samples we have collected provide clear and convincing evidence that surface-to-surface rockets containing the nerve agent sarin were used" in Ghouta, said the first page of the inspectors' report, which was inadvertently leaked by the United Nations.

While the government, backed by Russia, denies any use of chemical weapons, Ban said on Friday that Assad has carried out "many crimes against humanity" and called for accountability. He did not, however, accuse Assad of using chemical weapons.
