do you feel the same about the eternal liberal hate campaign or is that one cool?

It makes you wonder if there's a manual provided to all conservative MPs and Senators on how to avoid taking any responsibility for their elected and appointed positions...kind of like the memo that was circulated among the conservative caucus during the early years of the current conservative government on how to shut down Parliament.

There's really something wrong when any party acts as if Parliament is the enemy that must be defeated at any cost. In a sense all Canadians are the Parliament as the members we elect represent us there. By constantly attacking the free functioning of Parliament the conservative government is in fact attacking all of us.[/QUOTE

Man the barricades..............we are under attack! NOT!

Quite frankly, the liberals aren't worth the effort it would take to 'hate' them...........laugh, giggle, snort or guffaw maybe.

Also, RCS: Just for fun: Off-limits: Personal attacks, cursing, anything 18+, adult-themed comments !!

Cobalt ain't the sharpest pair of scissors, but sometimes he makes sense. Got it centered with regards to the Duff.

I used to enjoy the Duff on TV years ago, him being just a talking head and all, but now one cant see the head for the neck and the chins,

Quote: Trex.
That leaves Duffy and Harb.
One a Con and one a LIb.
Both found to be fiddling their expense and housing accounts.
Duffy the Con pays back the money, in full, lickety split.
No quibbles there.
So that's the Con........................""

No he didn't.
He said he was going to, then phoned his bum buddy and said he didn't have the coin. His buddy allegedly dug deep into his own pockets and wrote Duff a cheque.

But--------------The great leader didn't know !!!!

You guys should get jobs as tops; your conbot spin is wonderful.

You do understand that I made that post 6 days ago?
And the Nigel Wright story basically broke on the 15th-16th.
At least thats when I saw it.

Both you and the Kid are way way after the fact.

Ummm No

If you quote a story that broke days after I made a post and nobody had any knowlege of it as a rebuttle it makes no sense.

For example.
I state:
Adolph Hitler is a bad bad man.
He will do really bad things if gains power.

And thus I am a really smart guy for pointing this out.
Everyone should respect my debating skills and knowledge for pointing this issue out.

The problem of course is that it is all way after the fact.
Same with the posts I was talking about.
If I was making a prediction it would make sense.
Otherwise not.

I think it's clear why Wright did it, Harper has set an example of contempt for Parliament and Canadians in general and his underlings now have faith that anything they do can be swept under the rug with no consequences.

You know how they say that a leader or a party has a certain amount of political capital (leeway, of a sort).

Well with your incessant whining about Harper and the Conservatives, along with your mind-numbingly repetitive cheerleading for Trudeau and the Liberals, you've expended all your capital. So even when a juicy thing like the Duffy fiasco comes up, people turn you off because they're tired of hearing the same old stuff from you.

There isn't a single thing you say that can't be accurately predicted before reading what you write.

I think Mike Duffy's behaviour during the audit into senators expense accounts is illuminating on how the conservatives in general behave to circumvent and delay the checks and controls in our system meant to prevent and lessen the impacts of abuse of power.

6 surprising things in the Senate expense audits - Politics - CBC News

When Duffy finally did offer to cooperate with auditors near the end of the process, it came at a time when it would have delayed it.

Just one more example of a party who's "success" is built on the principles of deny, delay, distract.

Connecting aberrant behaviour to Political parties is absolutely ridiculous. A person is either dishonest or he/she isn't. Case in point we had one sleaze bucket from the Lower Mainland switch from Liberal to Conservative a month or less after the election. Is the guy any more or less honest now?

Whose titties? Mike's"?
any titties containing public milk...these guys are swill and it sickens me...I hope they blow this thing wide open.

Look to the south of us, more scandal while we have our own brewing here...

Left, right, there's no difference except those who have and those who do not. The problem is "ego". Idiots who don't have (comparatively speaking) are stupid enough to identify themselves with the haves and protect them.

I understand before, there was more of a demarkation between "them" and "us" and the average Joe was too unsophisticated to see it or believe they were not better than him. The upper crust was entitled and us peons bought the lines fed to us but those days are supposed to be over.

They are not.

I am so mad lately over all this stuff that when I see any kind of partisan behaviour I want to smack them silly....the great Harper just fell...and I effing supported him... bunch of turds...all of them...

and then that makes me feel badly too because I know locals in my area from all three parties and I think they are fine decent people who really want to make a difference... and I thought Duffy did too...I really liked that scum sucking maggot

when do they move from the realm of human to maggot? how does that happen I think it is systemic and I don't know how we fix that..but computer trails are helping that's for damn sure

I am disgusted with these people

I know, I feel your pain.

While I like cynical and sarcastic (dark) humour, deep down inside I'm really an optimist. I like to think that, deep down inside people really do care, they want to do their best, etc, etc. I think what upsets me the most when these 'scandals' emerge is that it really challenges that perception. And frankly, that pisses me off!

All these latest events from our provincial politics to Ottawa and City Hall in Toronto just confirm my convictions from the getgo...........politicians are the "bottom of the barrel". BUT Pamela Wallin, just blows my mind. Are none of them free from selfishness and greed?!

agreed I want the glass to be half full but these c suckers drink it all

and then I hear people whining about welfare mums, and drug addicts and street kids because they are all just scum sucking off of the public *** and taking tax money, like I am supposed to accept that some guy in a suit that steals millions is way more deserving of my tax dollars...because he is strong and the others are weak...because they have zero understanding of psychology and human behavior and weakness is to be shunned not helped...

I am sick of it.

there would be enough money to have a wonderful medical system, and a great safety net if they didn't drain the glass all the time and then wring their collective hands and whine incessantly about the economy while supporting the big industries who now suck off the public *** as well...'cause they own them

The root of the problem of course is these people get an inflated opinion of their own self worth and once that happens there is no limit to the money they feel entitled too. (In Pamela Wallin's case $hundreds of thousands) It's criminal is what it is. She is taking enough money for herself to substantially help hundreds of people.

and why don't we demand that they be persecuted...if we did that a few times they would be far more leery about just grabbing from the table and running, so why don't we?

what about that senator that used public funds and was drinking orange juice at 16.00 a glass, she just fell off the radar but she is a crook, it's disheartening
