Billionaire Bankster Penny Pritzker Breaks into Obama's Cabinet

You made fun of me when I suggested that President Barack Obama would nominate a confessed bank scammer, a loan-sharking mortgage predator, to his cabinet. But thar she blows!
Today, Obama has named Penny Pritzker Secretary of Commerce. As the President says, It's a milestone: the first female fraudster to hold that post. No longer will criminal bankers have to lobby the administration - because now they'll have one of their own in the Cabinet.

Though not unexpected, Pritzker's nomination is a distressing one for unions and their supporters. Pritzker is a board member at Hyatt Hotels, which is being boycotted over its labor practices, and was a member of Chicago's Board of Education, embracing the policies that led the city's teachers to strike in 2012. Hyatt and Pritzker say there's no issue:
Hyatt manager turned heat lamps on picketing workers? How Martha and Lorena Reyes were just coincidentally fired for questionable violations of break policy right after they complained about pictures being posted with their heads photoshopped onto bikini-clad bodies? How they're not the only ones to experience similar coincidences between speaking out and being suspended or fired?
How the Boston and Cambridge Hyatts had their longtime housekeepers train low-paid temp workers under false pretexts, then fired the longtime housekeepers, revealing that the temps were their replacements?
Also trailing Pritzker during confirmation hearings will be the 2001 failure of Superior Bank, then the nation's largest bank failure in a decade, where Pritzker was chairman from 1991 to 1994.

First lady Michelle Obama on Wednesday said New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) suffers from adulthood obesity and is an example of why her “Let’s Move” campaign is such an important initiative.
Speaking Wednesday on the “Today” show, the first lady was asked to comment on reports that Christie secretly underwent a medical operation in February to help him lose weight.
“The one thing I will say is that there are millions of people like the governor who struggle with adulthood obesity, and that’s one of the reasons why ‘Let’s Move’ is so important,” she said. “Because we want to start working with kids when they’re young so that they don’t have these challenges when they get older.”

Despite the Obama administration’s generous support for green energy, job creation in the sector has both lagged and come at a hefty cost to taxpayers, according to a new report.
According to the Institute for Energy Research, the Department of Energy has spent nearly $26 billion since 2009 on its Section 1703 and 1705 loan programs. However, these two programs only yielded 2,308 permanent jobs — meaning the cost to taxpayers was $11.25 million per job.
“Clearly, in terms of ‘bang for the buck,” government programs that coddle renewable energy are losers,” according to IER. “In terms of jobs, the losers are the American workers who would otherwise be gainfully employed but for the tremendous waste of taxpayer dollars on the administration’s obsession with “green energy.’”
