Northern Ontario,
If someone is just tossed, their posts remain. If someone is an offensive
one like the person you're referring too, we have a way to toss them and
all of their posts too. If they started a Thread, & the the O.P. (opening
post) is tossed...that Thread goes with it.

We don't do this often (except with spammers), but in this case it was
warranted. With this being someone who's already been shown the
door in the past (repeatedly), sweeping up after them is just good
hygiene....& I didn't toss this one as someone else beat me to it. ;-)
I haven't done this in a while but I think you can also delete (I think i's called child posts) but in that case any post that quoted him disappears too;-)

Damn it was him?!?! A couple guys in here called it early on. He had a good run this time.
I thought it was someone else...who tried a couple of times in another forum to pass of as a woman, hence my reference to a Mac computer and a Rogers IP...But I figured last night when he started arguing with Andem that he might not last, but I was too sleepy to stay up and watch....

Enough phalic fixation...back to Barry:

Congress Told Islamist Groups In Dagestan Preparing For Global Jihad…

But of course we already know (thanks to Obama) that no such global jihad exists.
Via Boston Globe:
Terrorist groups in the Northern Caucasus pose little immediate threat to the United States, harboring most of their ill will for Russia.

But some Islamist radicals there — especially in the province of Dagestan, where one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, spent half of last year — may be indoctrinating followers to take up a global struggle against the West, specialists told a congressional panel on Friday.

The testimony before a subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, the first since the deadly April 15 attacks, touched on the potential for attacks by militants drawn to the United States from the wider Islamic world, not just Pakistan, Afghanistan, or the Middle East.

“The Chechens are generally not preoccupied with the United States,” said Craig Douglas Alpert, a professor at Georgia Regents University who studies the majority Muslim region of Chechnya, which neighbors Dagestan and has been the focus of Moscow’s relentless campaign against militant groups seeking independence. “However, one has to consider if the Chechens do become more involved with the larger global jihadi network, whether they may consider attacking the US homeland.”

Several groups operating in Chechnya and Dagestan were designated terrorist organizations by the US State Department in 2011, including a confederation of groups called the Caucasus Emirate, founded in 2007, and one called Shariat Jammat.

Signposts on the Road to Decline

In late 1930 the Tory leadership in Britain’s governing coalition decided to back independence for India despite the increasing, vicious sectarian violence that graphically showed India was not yet ready for the British to leave. Later, historian A.L. Rowse would link partisan self-interest to the failure of nerve and collapse of morale that lay behind the policies of the ruling caste. It was in 1931, Rowse wrote, that “the caste lost confidence in itself and, undermined by fear, it lost not only confidence but conscience. Confused in mind about everything, except the main chance––its own preservation, it survived from year to year, from month to month, from day to day, by blurring the clarity of all issues, even the most dangerous––that of the nation’s safety; it maintained its enormous majority by electoral trickery, it spoke and perhaps thought in the language of humbug, it hoped to stave off conflict . . . by offering appeasement.”

These comments can serve as a commentary on the Obama administration’s failed foreign policy. There has seldom been a coherent, sound principle behind that policy other than partisan electoral “preservation” no matter the danger to the nation’s security and interests. Consider this by no means exhaustive catalogue:

When asked about second term failures, President Barack Obama responded by saying, "Maybe I should just pack up and go home. Golly."

Biden: Women Who Have Been Raped Don’t Report It Because They’ll “Get Raped By The System Again”…

It’s only bad when a Republican makes a clumsy rape comment.

WASHINGTON — Vice President Joe Biden says many women who are raped or physically abused don’t report it because they don’t want, in his words, “to get raped again by the system.”

Biden says many women who are abused are ashamed and embarrassed. He says it takes enormous courage for women to come forward and ask for help after being victims of domestic violence.

Biden spoke Wednesday night at a fundraiser at a Washington hotel for the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project. He says legal help for domestic violence victims is critical to freeing them from being imprisoned by their circumstances.

Biden says women are afraid to leave abusers because they’d be leaving their children behind. He’s touting the recently re-authorized Violence Against Women Act as critical to helping women escape violent situations
