Redundant. "Your ilk" means "the likes of you."

don't confuse him with conplex definitions.....he already has problems understanding %'s, taxes, pension options and how OAS is collected and distributed.

We don't want him to have an intellectual overload.

Correctamente! I just didn't want to blame it all on the one guy!

Ah, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you!-:) So far I've just been using 3 or 4 brain cells to stay ahead of you.-:) Wait until you come up against a couple of my monster cells-:)

Are you sure you are not Cannuck writing under a nom de plume? A normal guy wouldn't deliberately be as stupid. I retired 15 years ago, the rules may have been different then, there WAS NO OPTION THEN, to amalgamate Super Annie with O.A.P. How do you know I wasn't one of those hard working Canadians you are yapping about. Now tell me which way do you want it (Ya can't suck and blow at the same time) When I was working was I paying for someone's else's O.A.P.? If I wasn't then it's a fact no one today is paying for my O.A.P.!

Going back and re-reading this post I just noticed that you said that "I retired 15 years ago, the rules may have been different then, there WAS NO OPTION THEN, to amalgamate Super Annie with O.A.P.".

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you don't remember having an option and in your mind there was none. Why then did you write "the rules may have been different then". If you are sure you didn't have an option wouldn't you have written, "the rules must have been different then".......sure sounds suspicious.

Are you sure of anything you do? Perhaps your wife should make sure you take your morning memory pills because there seems to be an issue.

You're only using 3 or 4 because is that all you have? If not, it time to swap them out because I think their running on fumes!

English composition was one of my worst subjects in school, so maybe what I write can be a little confusing (to some people) at times! However I still have all the literature pertaining to my retirement options and amalgamating Super Annie and O.A.P. wasn't one of them. You are one making the accusations so why don't you dig up the rules as they were in 1998 and highlight in red which ones I'm missing?-:)

Perhaps before you do too much expostulating on deep subjects you should learn the fine art of spelling!

Ya don't use a shotgun to take out a fly.

Good one, Goober. Some people just don't know WTF to shut up! -:)

Nothing wrong with JLM's brain. Wouldn't do you no harm to listen to him. Not saying you have to agree, just take it on board. JLM's no fool.

If he's no fool why does it seem like he doesn't know what he's talking about. Can't differentiate between two completely different % categories, doesn't know whether he had an options at the time to take his pension, he KNOWS he didn't have the option but the rules MIGHT have been different, doesn't remember quotes I point in this string directly from the federal government website, doesn't know where the source of his OAS cheques from, believes that he was putting in OAS for the past 50 years, etc, etc, etc.

Oh wise person, if you have the literature pertaining to your retirement options there is this new device called a scanner that allows you to "scan" the document and then work electronically with it. You will then be able to show us what your options were......if you are indeed telling us the truth.

If you have the literature as you indicate this should be easy, shouldn't it? If you don't have the literature, as I suspect, then you are simply lying to save face.

Perhaps before you do too much expostulating on deep subjects you should learn the fine art of spelling!
If the best you can do is say I used the wrong spelling for a word then I guess my points MUST be excellent, otherwise you would be finding fault with the point rather than the spelling......right?

Read your reply to him then come back crying-
You were goddamned ignorant.
You post numbers- Other do- But yours are correct-
You do not discuss- you lay it down and expect everyone to agree.
And how do you know what rules applied when- and yes they change.
And your memory is so perfect- Right.

And pretty well all those beliefs were correct. You should drop this O.A.P. sh*t. You'll be collecting it one day (if someone doesn't shoot you first) Who the hell do YOU think pays for O.A.P.? Pretty well every nickel generated in this country comes from the citizens or the work they do. I know you'd like to change the O.A.P. so the amount exactly coincides with need, I'm not exactly stupid! But how are you going to do that? Some people's wealth doesn't show up on paper. Every one has different circumstances that require varying amounts of money. So it would be most unreliable to think that one guy whose income is $40,000 deserves less than another whose income is $35,000 a year. How many $s are you proposing to blow on bureaucracy? Better just to leave it as is and let the really hard cases come forward for the G.I.S. How many "unemployed" elderly are working for pay "under the table"? You really want to get that can of worms opened up? Speaking of worms, maybe a guy makes $25 selling worms out of his garden to fishermen? You really want to get into that? Sometimes it's better to let "sleeping dogs" lie.

Hey Einstein, I don't have to show you F**k all! What business of yours is MY pension? You come and call me a liar to my face and you'll be jamming a tooth brush up your A$$ to clean your teeth. I've been more than reasonable, in replying to your illegable and misspelled screeds.

Northern Ontario,

When people won't dance with him anymore he hands out reds..
Might I suggest that you could start calling it Old age Security instead of Old age Pension.....It seems to confuse the hell out of them;-)

It's funny how hypocrites are after you to answer their questions but they are very careful to steer clear of any one else's!
