Yes, if all you want to do is compare the history of the parties. Unlike you, I don't assume Harper, Mulroney, Clark and Diefenbaker are all the same just because they were Conservatives. Just like I don't believe Justin, Pearson and King are all the same. I guess you're the type of person that looks backwards and I am a forward thinker.

Wrong again.

Past history of a persons action are important.

If someone always lies do you believe them when they make a promise?

Makes a statement in one part of the country and contradicts that the next day or week in another part of the country, how do you rate their credibility?

I wait patiently for an answer.

Which do you prefer?

It doesn't matter to me. You just need to pick one. Isn't it funny how the forum members like you that are forever making silly claims that others are ducking, weaving, dodging and dancing are the worst offenders.

So which do you prefer, Harper's vs Trudeau's lies or Con's vs Lib's lies?

Never mind the insults-

Being polite to you is clearly offensive and not tolerated by yourself.

As that is the direction you have chosen I will sit back and watch for a while.

You and roundabouts are of no interest to me.

Unlike you I will not speak to or insult other Forum Members in my replies as you have done.

They are mature enough to arrive at their own conclusions.

Well, seeing as the two bombers seemed to have joined a club of terrorists, I guess they weren't feeling all that excluded.

I would think the one terrorist, who was run over by the other terrorist, felt pretty much excluded....of course he is dead...can't
get much more excluded than that....

The really amazing thing here is that after little more than a week it's becoming strangely certain that Justin Trudeau just doesn't have the stuff to lead Canada just like Dion, Ignatieff, Mulcair or anybody else before him for that matter.

The problem isn't that there isn't anybody else that can run Canada effectively, it's that the conservatives have hit on an effective method of keeping anyone else from unseating Harper no matter what he does so far that has nothing to do with real democracy.

Don't forget, though, the PM is just the first among equals. So even if the party leader isn't worth voting for, but the local candidate has the necessary charaacter and mind, then absolutely I'd vote for him.

Likewise vice versa. If the party leader is an angelic genious but the local candidate is not worth voting for, he does not get my vote since the leader is not the one I'm voting for.

It used to be a lot more like that, I remember as a young child when a neighbour ran as a Liberal MP and got elected, it seemed things were much more informal back then and personal character was much more important.

Now it just seems like a zero-sum game where the winners take all and could care less about the overall situation in Canada. Treating politicians as successful at winning in this way is self-destructive in my opinion. We need to focus on sending the best people to Ottawa regardless of their party affiliations and that means people who care about more than their own often very narrow agendas.

Tsk tsk.! Why is it so difficult to answer such a simple question. Clearly Das can't figure out who is doing the dancing.
