Northern Ontario,
Pretty well every able bodied person who REALLY wants a job has one. I don't know where you live but there's several factories and mills in Canada. Where do you think a lot of your lumber etc. comes from? I just mentioned several places of employment, hospitals and jails are other big employers.
Obama is in the states so jobs in Canada have something to do with it....go to bed son.

Defend ...defend ...Obama

Biggest corporate profits since 1900.

There have been 'record corporate profits' ever since the global economy has kicked into high gear... Don't fool yourself into believing that this was the direct result of wise democrat policy

Greatest Wall Street activity in 22 years.

... Not too tough when the markets nose-dived under the Dems watch; it's entirely expected that they rebound

Are you suggesting that the factories, mills, farms, hospitals, jails, banks, retail and wholesale outlets in the U.S. don't have any jobs? I like Obama.

Considering that in the USA, record numbers are relying on food stamps and over 1/2 the population doesn't qualify to pay Federal income taxes:

Is this a success?

... And you still like him?

You don't think that some of those relying on food stamps are unemployable? You think Obama has some special power to make people suddenly employable? Is income tax really a good tax? I think VAT might be better and I'd bet those not paying income tax are paying the VAT. What is the definition of success? Which countries today are "successful"? Long live Obama!

You gotta be kidding

Thank you kindly.

My pleasure... Please accept this gift from me as a small token - perhaps a talisman in you're achieving your goals... Hell, lets consider this your first step towards reaching the apex

Kind of you. And not even my birthday!

Not to worry: For your special day, I'll shoot you a comprehensive list of the Federal programs that you can use to deduct from your taxable income so, you too can be one of the (more than) 50% of people that are exempt from taxes.

"Kidding" doesn't usually come in the form of questions! I think it is you who is kidding! I believe before one condemns someone, he/she should offer better solutions.

Maybe try to answer your own questions first.

Thanks, but I don't pay Federal income tax, so don't trouble yourself.

You asked.................when you ask questions you can't always expect to like the answers!

In Canada, federal income tax was brought in as a TEMPORARY measure during W.W.1, so obviously income tax isn't a necessity! I'm not sure when the U.S. first adopted income tax! Perhaps you know, Capt.

Temporary measure in 1861 and 1862 to pay for the Civil War. Another time in 1894. The Sixteenth Amendment authorized direct taxation in 1913, and we've had Federal income tax since.
