Dr. Benjamin Carson Speaks Truth To Power

- A marvellous moment occured at yesterday's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington when Dr. Benjamin Carson, the brilliant director of pediatric neurosurgery at John Hopkins Hospital eviscerated the glib phony sitting less than ten feet from him with a speech on what is wriong with American and how American can be fixed.

- You can see in this video that the glib phony in question - Barack Obama, former marxist trained community organizer in the cesspool of Chicago and now the Democratic plant in the White House with the mission to wreck the GOP and the economy and turn the country into another North Korea but with better television programming and better burgers - is not exactly lapping up what the brilliant black Doctor Carson has to say about how things like the more than 16 trillion dollar debt accumulated under Obama and the punative, class warfare taxation policies initiated under Obama are wrecking the country.

- Parlty this is because Obama is a lazy, undisciplined night owl who likes to stay up late, get up late, and have no early morning meetings and so you can see him at this early prayer breakfast chewing on his nicoret gum, yawning and obviously preferring to be somewhere else, specially after Dr. Carson took the podium. Indeed, Obama only attended this event because every president for the past sixty years or more has done so.

- Parly this is because he prefers to surround himself with the beautiful albeit vacuous people of Hollyweird who kiss his *** and give him money and agree with his every stupid and destructive utterance, people like comedian Chris Rock who actaully said without a trace of irony or embarrassment on national TV a couple of days ago that Obama was like our boss and that the president was the father of the country and we must all listen to and obey our father, president Obama. (For the x-rated comments this idiot and racist Rock had to say about Bush, just go to google).

- But Obama's discomforture is mainly because he knows that Doctor Carson is intelelctually and academically brilliant (no need for him to seal all of his academic records from kintergarden to university) so he can't disagree by calling his stupid and that he is black so that he can't disagree by calling him racist and that he is measured and incisive and correct on his criticisms of Obama and his ill considered left wing policies that are destroying America so that he can't disagree by calling him wrong.

- The only saving grace here for BO is that the most mindless and partisan lefties here and elsewhere have really short attention spans and this speech by the doctor is several minutes and therefore much too long for their short attention spaqns and tiny brains to absorb and process let alone evaluate.

- Good on you, Dr. Carson!

The Wall Street Journal: Ben Carson for President - WSJ.com

As Clinton said of the Bamster, "Not long ago this guy would have been getting us coffee."

- Walter ... Zipper Billy Clinton said plenty more about the stench of BO before Hillary wisely decided not to run in 2012 because it would split the Democrats down the middle and hand the presidency to the GOP candidate.

- Of course now that Obama is back in office and Hillary is thinking of running in 2016, Bill will lionize BO so as to get his support for Hillary in the next presidential election.

- Here is another taste of what Bill Clinton really feels about "The Amateur" aka Barack Obama:

A new book alleges that Clinton urged his wife to challenge 'incompetent', 'amateur' Barack Obama

LAST UPDATED AT 12:44 ON Fri 11 May 2012

TWO WEEKS ago, Bill Clinton appeared on stage with Barack Obama, praising the "good job" the President was doing and endorsing his 2012 re-election campaign. However, according to claims in a new book, Clinton has privately branded Obama an "amateur" and urged his wife to challenge for the presidency.

The allegations come in a new biography of Obama, The Amateur, written by Edward Klein, the former New York Times Magazine and Newsweek editor. Klein relates a conversation that supposedly took place at Bill Clinton's New York home last August during a gathering of long-time friends.

"Barack Obama is an amateur," Clinton allegedly said to Hillary, according to the New York Post. "The economy's a mess, it's dead flat. America has lost its Triple-A rating... you know better than Obama does."

The rant didn't end there. Clinton reportedly said Obama "doesn't know how to be president" and is "incompetent", going on to add the pair had "no relationship". Clinton even says he was consulted more by Obama's predecessor George W Bush.

The comments, if true, reveal a marked difference between Clinton's public support for the President and his private reservations. More damning, however, will be the suggestion that Clinton actively encouraged his wife, the Secretary of State, to quit her job and challenge Obama in the 2012 primaries.

"The country needs you!" Bill Clinton reportedly said, dismissing the suggestion that she was too old to run. "I'm the highest-ranking member in Obama's Cabinet," Hillary replied. "I eat breakfast with the guy every Thursday morning. What about loyalty, Bill? What about loyalty?" The former president supposedly responded: "Loyalty is a joke... Loyalty doesn't exist in politics."

Klein insists the conversation is factually sound, stating that he interviewed two guests present at the meeting. However, Bill Clinton's spokesman has called the allegations "totally and completely false" and branded Klein a "known liar". White House spokesman Eric Schultz has said "nobody in their right mind" would believe the accusations

First off, what video did walter and the grammatically challenged teddyboy watch? By the comments the 2 have made, it sure the hell wasn't the one posted. Personally, I think both teddy and walter need to take the good Doctors advice when he quoted Proverbs 11 12 at the beginning of his speech.

- Hey, Walter, do you smell what I smell? You know, the double powered and noxious stench of BS in defence of BO?

- Hey, there it is in a steaming little pile right in the path of our cyber sidewalk.

- In this case, it is the BS of a preditctable lefty of centre loon who hasn't the attention span to get past the first couple of minutes of the good doctpr's speech, who can't deal in specifics because he doesn't have any, and who must resort to slagging my grammar to have anything at all to say. (Ironically, his grammar is quite good but he has nothing whatsoever to say that is the least bit original, clever, insightful or amusing. Quite sad, really.)

- My advice is to just step gingerly around the pile of BS and then ignore it as I shall do.

NOTE - If anyone here has the attention span and the brainpower to actually listen to the good doctor's full speech and wants to discuss it intelligently pro or con or both, I'm here for you. If you just want to be an annoying and juvenile A-hole, a poster boy for the loony left, get stuffed.

Balony: The New York Post being, well, The New York Post, is reporting Klein's account as if it were news even though they note that Bill Clinton's spokesperson called Klein, a former editor of the New York Times Magazine and Newsweek, "a known liar," that Hillary's spokesperson has come out against him, and that the White House has denied Klein's account.

It's disgusting the way they speak about another human being and then call themselves Christian... that is not how Christians behave. It is not like any human being should behave.

But it is how small minded, frustrated, intellectually inferior individuals present themselves.

You talking about teddy and wally? Or the clown whose a$$ they are both so busy licking?

I don't know. I guess if the shoe fits, we wear it regardless of our strata.

But really it doesn't matter what they say, (in the big picture) they don't have influence. Although, I don't understand why people speak as they do either really. That type of presentation only attracts like thinkers so it is just a chest pound. They aren't dangerous per se.

But the guys on the video that Spade posted are dangerous. They have power, and money but most of all, they have an agenda which is to guard the status quo. In order to keep it, they must sway the little person by manipulating their thoughts and thus their actions. (vote)

Trump for instance in the other thread, was a birther. I don't really think he was stupid enough to believe the theory, but it worked for his agenda which is of course his best interest. He can influence the simpler minded who run on emotion and persuade them to vote and support his best interest. He plays on their prejudice, their fear, their need to follow authority. He plays into their feelings of inferiority by making them feel smarter, and basically better.

It disgusts me when brilliant people manipulate the little people out of what is best for them.

You are the judge of Christians? I didn't know.
You are the judge of all human beings? I didn't know.
You are the judge of who is small-minded and intellectually inferior? I didn't know.

I won't call the Bamster brilliant but he has power and is manipulating millions of little people out of what is best for them.

yeah :) Amazing that people have a different perspective than you and Teddy? You can't be that surprised? You likely just label me as a moron for having a different opinion than you.

In all seriousness though Walter, about the side you represent, I don't see much compassion for fellow human beings in general. I see belittling and mocking and shared laughter and a feeling of them against us, but no attempt to really reach out to others and say, hey, this is in your best interest. I don't see that.

If I did, I would stop, look and listen. And I mean that from the heart Walter. This is just a forum where we all spew forth our little opinions but really, if I thought that the super-right-winged-side had any compassion or care for humanity and what was best for the poor, the sick, the ignorant and the marginalized, I would seriously be alert to listen.

I won't call the Bamster brilliant but he has power and is manipulating millions of little people out of what is best for them.
Well Bush was an idiot and still managed to manipulate millions of little people out of what was best for them. In fact. he destroyed the economy and, many of them came home in body bags and people still cheer for him. Don't you see that as sad? Seriously? Seems to be how it works though. Isn't there something quintessentially wrong with that?

I truly don't think he did it on purpose, or at least in a cognizant way, He was just mentally deficient and manipulated by those with an agenda. Daddy must have been just horrified to see junior so used.

I do believe that Obama is a good man, with a good heart and mind who just wants to see the best for the greatest number.

Convince me otherwise, that there is a better way for the majority of his people, and i will jump on board. Until then he is the best available.

At the beginning of the OP video, Dr. Carson makes the observation that the Government is basically run by Lawyers and that those lawyers are taught to win. Win at all costs. He speaks quite clearly that that attitude needs to change. He states that the democratic lawyers want to win and the republican lawyers want to win. What is needed is cooperation. Not a "us against them" mentality. Walter and teddy seem to have a real problem with that concept and have, which is no surprise, skipped right over that message.

I agree totally.

They are in big, big trouble down there. He gets that. The time for personal agenda is over. They need to pull together. I thought his comments too about PC were dead on. And he knows what it is to come from nothing to something so he speaks with validity to their American Dream that they so like to press....from nothing to everything... he is living proof.

The message is brilliant, and one which I believe Obama is working toward.
