How many offenders that have served 15 years in prison here in Canada have been released and offended again?
Not many.

So you want to pay a extra 1.5 million for?????? nothing...????

How many received the sentence they deserved. This whack job did not. You base justice on money.

No. I base sentencing on rehabilitation, More then 15 years is not making any difference on that point.
Why flush 1.5 million $ on something that wont help anyone????

What is your opinion on what he did.

What he did is very sick and wrong. but trust me 15 years of not having your freedom is a long long time. 99% of offenders will have changed by then and wont repeat offend ever.

They don't ever want to take a chance and put there freedom in jeopardy again.

Poor Cannuck is a very confused boy! He simply can not tolerate questions requiring more than "Yes" or "no" and he's likely to get 50%of those wrong! -:)

Karma man is back

Das a squeedo not a gnat. Just sayin'.

Cliffy- I note a Red- Wonder who.

As usual you leave some things out.
Read your comment about telling the Police.

Bump.

People that are always screaming for longer prison sentences are usually just vindictive.

When Walter gives me a red, I know why. I can't for the life of me figure out why cannucklehead gave me that one.

Well you know more about Walter than I do! As for Cannucklehead.............Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Why" only applies where there's ability to reason!-:)

(like long prison sentences for the likes of Bernardo and Picton are just plain vindictive) -:)-:)

They are. Long sentences are cruel and unusual punishment. They should be shot and put out of their misery.

Killing people is fine for those that trust the government to do the right thing I guess. I've never thought government was much good at building roads let alone deciding who they should kill.

Governments don't do that, Einstein, juries do.

Of course governments do. Your ignorance of the law is quite staggering. Are you actually trying to say that politicians can't stay executions or commute sentences?

Your ignorance period is quite staggering. Bobbing and weaving as usual, bonehead. I was responding to a post where you stated Gov'ts were imposing sentences not staying or commuting them.

Nice try but I didn't say governments were imposing sentences.
