Thanks for the input but I was rather hoping that somebody else would answer. You know, somebody with enough knowledge of the Bible to understand that the sermon on the mount wasn't in the old testament. I do appreciate the effort you made though.

In my opinion when you consider it JLM gave a very insightful answer and one I agree with. No word at all from Jesus. Just because a person does not have a religious belief does not mean they do not have something to offer on religion now does it?

I was thinking that a fella like yourself would want knowledge from any source you could get it because whereever it comes from it would certainly be an addition to what you have. -

Duh, the date of the Sermon on the Mount was approx. 27 A.D. Jesus was born approx. 4 B.C. The most recent events in the O.T. was about 250 B.C. It doesn't take a Rhodes Scholar in math. -

Who said I've enhanced anyone's knowledge. I've simply asked a question that nobody has given a good answer to. Why do you have a problem with people asking questions...or is it just a problem when people ask questions you don't like?
