You just broke your own responsible speech rule, lol.

I'm not anti-Free Speech.. Christ. I proved to you I speak Spanish, badly, nonetheless.

I am very much for Free Speech, the guy who was asking for protection was Canadian.. where I feel we don't have true Free Speech because of the HRC. In Canada we have Responsible Speech.

I wish Canada would adopt the US Constitution..

oh brother... **shrugs**
What? I proved it, I even used your own words to do that.

It was fun.

If you want to be thoroughly embarrassed again, go back to that thread, I don't mind embarrassing you, again and again.

Let's get back to why Iran shouldn't have nuclear material, full stop.

Boomer,

1) A nuclear reactor produces plutonium, but not in a form that can be used for nuclear weapons. The plutonium in spent fuel rods must be reprocessed and purified to a high level of enrichment first before it can be used in a nuclear weapon.
2) As per Iran's agreement with Russia and in compliance with a voluntary NPT protocol, Iran does not keep spent fuel rods after they become safe to move. Russia takes them back. BTW, Russian advisers work at Bushehr. Bombing Bushehr and killing Russian nationals would probably piss off Russia...

The concept of making weapons grade fissionable material is similar to making alcohol flammable. 100% pure alcohol is explosively flammable. But you can't even light beer (4% alcohol) or wine (14% alcohol) on fire, because the alcohol is not pure enough . However if you distill beer or wine, you can purify the alcohol to the point where it becomes flamable. (about 40%... which is one reason why spirits are not purified beyond 40% as it would become a dangerous fire/explosion hazard)

Fissionable plutonium and uranium must first be refined to a high level of purity before it can be used in a nuclear weapon. In theory 20% enriched uranium could be used to make a nuclear weapon, but the lower the purity the higher the critical mass. Suitcase nukes require 99% purity. Regular nukes are 85% or better. If someone did try to use 20% enriched uranium as bomb material, they bomb would be the size of a mountain, inefficient and probably require a nuclear weapon to detonate... in other words, not practical, although in theory possible.

At 6% enriched uranium, critical mass = infinity

lol If Iran had a nuke and actually was stupid enough to use it, I`d make a bet the UN security council would land on it like a ton of bricks on a mosquito, anti-war factions or not.
BTW, who gives a crap what Amadjihad says? He's a puppet with few brains and a big mouth.

Even if Iran had a nuke, they still couldn't rely on it working until they tested it. As soon as Iran detonated a nuke, everyone would detect it. So it not possible for Iran to build a nuclear weapon capability without everyone knowing.

Israel has nukes, which means they got the designs from one or more of the nuclear powers in violation of the NPT. Likely they also tested their nuke designs, with the cooperation of one of the nuke powers in violation of the NPT.

Also this incident was probably an Israeli/South African nuclear test:
Vela Incident - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I suspect more Israeli nuclear weapons tests were also detected, but they remain classified. (speculation). But pretty much everyone in the know is aware that Israel has nuclear weapons and the Israeli leaders at various times have more or less said Israel has a nuclear capability.

Really, that worked well with Iraq.. oh the reason the US went it alone. ;)

United Nations Security Council and the Iraq War - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The US claimed that Iraq had stockpiles of WMDs... that was the stated reason why the US invaded and occupied Iraq. Yet Iraq had no WMDs, nor did any one in Iraq have anything to do with the events of 9/11. The entire US justification for war was a complete fabrication, just like Israel's claims about Iran.

Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice shame on me.

You are falling for the same BS twice...

Who do you think the major muscle is in the UN SC? The USA went to Iraq basically alone because the Council basically could see no reason to go there. Iran is a different kettle of fish. DUH. If Iran used a nuke, the members of the Council would be popping fuses all over the place.
Exactly. If the US and/or Israel attacked Iran with conventional weapons, Iran would strike back with conventional weapons. If the US or israel went nuclear on Iran, Iran would likely respond in short order with chemical and biological weapons. While Iran has no known stockpiles of CWs or BWs, they do have the technology. I would fear a biological attack more than a nuclear exchange. Think weaponized Ebola or a virulent strain of influenza....

lol you have come full circle, so how do we stop them??

DUH!! Bomb Iran's nuclear facilities where they are getting the resources to build a nuke, seems like a clear choice to me as nothing else is working.

Actually the NPT is working exactly as planned. Iran is mastering peaceful nuclear technology and has respected the 20% enrichment limit. Bomb them and I doubt they will remain nuke free for long...

Angstrom- A rebuttal would be nice. Can you form the words.

And to make it difficult for you - Into a complete thought. Can ya, huh, well can ya.
Good luck, the coward uses the rep system to troll. While he gives people like you and I negs for posts he says don't add anything to the forum. He gives thumbs up to others for insulting others.

His game is puerile and cowardly, just like EAO's.

Here, fill this out and file it.

Because he's a troll.
Oh I know- trying to stimulate that stem cell above the neck. I feel like I am on Mission Impossible. But in a Sean Connery way. He has style.
