Why not start a thread on exactly why and how Quebec was insulted as you say regarding the repatriation of the Constitution in 82.
What powers Quebec should have - and if the other Provinces should also have those powers.
Include what other insults that the ROC- Rest of Canada have also committed.
Link with short excerpts- 2-6 lines - keeps the thread short and concise- or page and paragraph numbers to easily reference would be a good idea.
Otherwise this topic goes in circles.

You speak of power while I speak of the insult to a province that all the power Quebec gained or lost at that time is irrelevant to the issue of the French saving face and the English admitting that they could have done things in a more ethical way.
Emotion is driving Quebec, the French and the English apart. Not an issue of sharing power.
