Boomer,
I work in customerservice and it’s too bad we have to deal with ASSHOLES likeyou.

I shouldn’t have to put up with being yelled at or swornat for asking questions to determine the customer’s needs, but I do.

And yes, the customer is always ‘right’, even if they arenot. By the way, my job is a real job.

Don't think he's been catching on to that little message.:lol::lol:

Ann Murray.. my favorite!! LOL

Yep, definitely one of the best Canadian female singers. I can never get enough of "Snowbird".

Opinions are like ASSHOLES, everyone has one, and well Chev's opinion as well as a few others stinks. I'm sure those same folks may feel the same about mine... but then we are back to square one.. they don't pay my way in life so I just don' t fukking give a sh*t...

Actually with the amount of taxes I pay weekly, it's more than likey I have paid his way on one or more occassions. ;)

One button over.... Typo

...new cash registers?
when the bill says 10 double cheeseburgers and they put in 10 mcnuggets... this is not a Typo Has nothing to do with the register... It is their inability to learn the predominant language in the country they are in. This is not the only time it has happened. I appreciate you trying to defend these people immigrating... but lets face it, They think its up to us to learn their language as its too much of an inconvenience to learn the language in the country they are coming to.

Immigrates work twice as hard as their Canadian counterpart in most cases

Now with that said.

Mcdonalds - 6820 - 4th St N.w., Calgary, Alberta.. worst service,rude & ignorant.

McDonald's Misses Revenue Forecast, Profits Slips Due To Foreign Exchange Rates

I don't give red negs very often but this thread deserves one. I'm trying to figure out if it's purpose is to tell the whole wide world how bad Big Macs is or to tell the whole wide world how great the author is. I think most of us know that everyone can screw up without Boomer telling us and most of us know that Big Macs has its shortcomings. I suppose most of us didn't realize until now how great Boomer is. Now he should go find another restaurant!

I think we are all pretty much over weight after 40. Me too by 25 lbs. I need to eat better.. less fast food more home cooked..
It's not the food that make people over weight.. It's their activity levels.

If you want to lose weight eat McDonalds but skip the cola and fries, subsititute with an OJ and salad.

Good grief, if you want to ‘special order’ something, park your vehicle and go into the restaurant instead of holding up the line at the drive thru!!

There is a book called “The Customer is NOT Always Right”. It’s hilarious! A good read for anyone in customer service.

Exactly. It's like those asswholes who bring every lottery ticket purchased in the last year into a convenience store, then split their $18 winnings on assorted new tickets while 5 work commuters wait behind him. "No, give me two of these, three of those..wait, instead lets get a 649 quick pick, try my lucky Max numbers ... uh not sure if I want the extra .. what are the odds on Ride' M Cowboy $1 dollar scratches?"

The rest of us are like, 'will you get the fck out of here you thoughtless prick! Why don't you just make a bonfire with that crap?'

Good one Kreskin, then there are the little old ladies (and some young ones) who stand at the checkout counter while $200 worth of groceries are tallied up, THEN they open up their purse and fumble around then ask "what's the total again", "oh $200. 26, hold on I may have the change, fumble, fumble, finally digging out the 26 cents including 16 pennies.

its amazing how you judge someone's status in life, or their importance, or their intelligence from 'how'
much money they make. There are many very intelligent people working for minimum wage, and there are many
dim wits making high wages, the measure of someone's importance in life has nothing to do with how much
money they make, take note of that fact, you might learn something.

Minimum wage is just one step above slavery.

Quite often IS slavery.

Again maintaining your usual level of wisdom. It's very sad when someone has such a materialistic philosophy, sadder still when they broadcast to the world while looking down their noses at people who are possibly much more genuine than they are!

Good thing they are the last jobs to be filled.

Probably because it's the last job most people would take.

They are jobs anyone can do, especially newcomers to Canada whose language skills need polishing or CDN kids who were arrogant to think they can quit school and make a go of it in life.

and many others who are older, who have lost their jobs, sometimes more than once because of company
decisions to fold, or sell or just discontinue that job, many good people have worked hard for years,
and have ended up working for minimum wage, no fault of their own, but they want to work, not live
off of others.

Hats off to them if they are willing to work and do what it takes when the chips are down.

Education is important, however there ARE a few who can quit school and make a go of it in life, albeit they maybe making it harder for themselves, but by the same token they are not wasting a bunch of time learning a bunch of stuff bureaucrats deem necessary. Formal education rates about sixth on my list of traits including ambition, determination, perseverence, honesty, organized thinking.

I don't want someone without geometry skills building my house.
