Superiority ... no not at all.. the manager in question was let go.. that restaurant better off for it.. (I guess)

The employees are as only as good as their leader..

I guessed she pissed off the wrong customer.. as I vented here, someone else took it to a whole new level. I feel bad, she should have been told of her mistake, corrected.. not let go.

If I was on a superiority trip I would have called the store manager.. I didn't, as the service was **** I don't know the full circumstances of the situation..

People go to these fast food joints supposedly because they are fast and cheap. If you want service and quality you go to White Spot, Denny's, Earls or ABC and you pay accordingly. So if some a$$hole goes to Big Mac and gets an extra leaf of lettuce in the burger I don't shed too many tears for him. But then again these places are generally meant for kids so I guess it's kids who go there.

Well it is like this
Either you are doing a poor job of explaining or the majority have made up their minds on this trifling mistake.

So either explain in a clear and concise manner - or fess up and read the comments.

I thought I explained it fairly well.. I was not rude.. actually went out of my way to back off and not get angry.. the aggressor was the manager..

Look, I figure everyone can have a bad day.. however, I think if you are in customer service you should try and do better.. or at least take a breather.

As I stated, I have worked the other side.. I understand there can be problem people... from thieves to just plain nut jobs.

However this lady was not just taking it out on me.. but customers behind me and staff.

As I said, there could have been extenuating circumstances.. I don't know.. but as a shift manager she should then remove herself from the situation if things are that bad.

Honestly, if what my neighbor tells me is true, that she was let go.. that is sad.. I always wonder, what if she has kids to support, or an elderly person in the household.

Maybe as a person who was a manager and in the position of customer service I expect more.. I also give more.. just yesterday I was asked to help out a customer doing something that was clearly not part of my duties.. felt lake saying, sorry that is your job, not part of mine.. rather, swallowed my pride and helped out.. pissed off a little but shut up and did it any way..

They were very thankful for the help.. a happy customer and 5 minutes of my life.. bid deal.

Really, get a life.. McDonald's food is the problem if you watch the video.. I think we are all pretty much over weight after 40. Me too by 25 lbs. I need to eat better.. less fast food more home cooked..

PX90 or something.

Wow, and I bet you can't see anything wrong with the above attitude.

I could see the complaint if they neglected to include the lettuce, but generally when you get something extra you keep your mouth shut. (Pull the lettuce out and drop it off at the food bank)

That's what I tell people when they have food allergies, too. suck it up, you got more than you paid for, stop whining you pussy.

I like your attitude. You'd make a successful businessman. Shut up and take what I give you.

McDonald's, or any other fast food restaurant for that matter, is not to blame for anything. Unless, of course, you're one that has a problem accepting personal responsibility in your life.

wow, jumping topic to topic without a reply..what a troll..

Fukk off troll

I see you can't, once again, come up with a rebuttal.

really, troll. then explain yourself.. rather than stupid one liners.. so what is wrong with always trying to make a customer happy, even if it's really not part of your job,or you do not feel like it??

Your attitude stank. Yes, you did the right thing but you admit to being pissed off about it. Something that only took 5 mins and was good customer relations.

THANK YOU GERRYH

So, in the name of good customer relations, the shift manager at Mc Donald's should of made a new meal.. Correct. After all, it would only have taken her 5 minutes.. (your words gerryh)

You should not handle food after handling cash, I would guess... and remove lettuce with your bare hands.

As far as your statement that we have to be responsible about what we put in our bodies.. agree with you 100%.

I just moved to Calgary from BC.. I have to go back to BC at month end to get my furniture, kitchen wares.. and back to home cooked meals. As a trucker, unfortunately I eat lot's of fast food.. as I am sure too many are guilty off.. after my move is complete.. I am going on a diet.. The Dr Bernstein diet..

My goal is to lose 25 lbs.
