Mine said 42 at 5:00 this aft here in SK.
Once I started driving it went down to 34.

In Columbus, OH last week temperature was routinely 40+ with an added benefit of high humidity. I suspect 34c in Calgary is a dry heat although a tad warm.

Actually it's very humid, that's the killer. Alberta is usually dry, its been getting stickier every year.

I only got 3 days in last month because of the rain so bring on the hot weather!

Hey, it's summer. For a few brief months we are not freezing our backsides off.

Here in Kelowna its muggy and hot. temp about 33 today with severe storm
warnings. Hail is not good for apples. Really dark clouds earlier this evening
now it lightning and thunder but no rain yet. Lighting struck in East Kelowna
one small fire at the edge of town but not serious at least not yet,

No that's just the moisture we've collected past few months.

For some reason people like to make the most ridiculous statements about places they've never been.

Note that if it was true smoke haze you'd see much more colourful sunsets.

FWIW-I spoke to a guy last week who'd just flown in from Riyadh-it was 48 degrees every day there.
