The coke stack is the only one that you will see anything coming out of in the summer.

Looks like you've run out of "steam".

We need to reduce emissions to reach the targets we set for ourselves.

This inconvenient truth is what sets you guys into a fury because none of you can accept that fact.

So we shouldn't cut the biggest source of CO2 emissions which is home heating?

You realize oil industry is #5 on the CO2 countdown?

Then what? Manufacturing which blows oil industry out of the water?

Read the article in the OP.

- Alberta: Highest total emissions in Canada and second highest emissions per capita. Existing and proposed policies expected to close 41 per cent of gap toward 2020 target of 50 million tonnes below annual business as usual emissions.

How's China doing with this?
Has anyone achieved their targets?
How is China doing Very well, thank you. It is streets ahead of Canada in actual strategies and more than that in preparations. Even though it was not obliged under the original Kyoto agreement to do anything before this year except to make inventories and develop plans.

Has anyone reached targets. Indeed they have. Britain, Germany, Sweden and a few more are ahead of their targets, and on track to reduce emissions below 1990 levels by a greater percentage than Canad plans to reduce below 2007 levels. Some of those countries will have reduced by up to 30% below their Kyoto targets by 2020.

Canada will still be above.

I'm sure the plan is to set everyone's thermostat to zero you putz.
I'm a putz because Canada has cold winter which makes us high consumers of NG?

It must be smokin' easy for pissant nations in warm climates to reduce huh? Is it because they don;'t have 40 ****ing below winters in places like Botswana?
