Damn.... another perfectly good thread turned into a dog pile instead of a debate. This is getting annoying.

True, he's no fool. He may be dishonest, disingenuous, hypocritical, special interest Dipper shill and someones tissue.

But he's no donut.

I criticized Mulcair for his Conrad Black racial comments, I think the dutch disease exists (but not to the degree he may be politicking), and I don't agree with the NDP's platform of cap 'n trade.

So you can pull your makeshift attack routine as you like, but it has no teeth.

It goes off course when the fighting begins, but we eventually steer it back again.

I'll grab the tiller and set this ship back on course......

I read a related article yestreday stating that some police depts are more diligent than others at doing the paperwork on domestic incidents where no charges were laid.

I could see that happening.

Cross referencing the crime stats (particularly violent Crime) might provide some interesting speculation in terms of where the police elect to apply their resources.

This was a troll thread to begin with.... Likening its evolution to a dog pile is an insult to dog piles.

If complaints are piled up and it's a busy night (welfare/child tax credit/GST cheque days) what becomes more important? Getting to the next call and preventing a more serious crime or doing paperwork on a complaint settled without charges?

Any stats on which Province is highest for strangers killing each other?

BTW Prairies and Alberta are not exclusive of each other. Do they include hunting accidents?

Why do stats clash with the tile? Shouldn't it say" Territories have the highest rates of family abuse in Canada" ?

Prairies/Alberta have the highest rates of family abuse in Canada

Are the reporting and response standards exactly the same for all jurisdictions?

I already mentioned it.

Funny but all the time I spent in the territories I never noticed much if any domestic violence and I was living 4 to a tent with Innuit so it was very close and personal.I did notice the suicide attempts and rates and why it is so high.Drugs and alcohol have lots to do with it.
