Don't forget you must run your home on Canadian nuclear or wind generated electricity and use Canadian grown biofuels in your vehicles.
Or maybe you can invent a process to make fuel out of tulips.

I wonder how Mulcair would feel about the Oil Sands if the majority of the jobs were union? His position indicates that he doesn't care about working people unless they belong to the chosen unions.

Not just union jobs, but union jobs in Que.

I wonder if Mulcair is looking to organize another James Bay style project for Quebec... You know, annex the resource, get Canada to pay for the infrastructure/development and show up every so often to collect the cheques.

Mulcair is just a "flash in the pan". If you add up all the ridings outside of Quebec, what percentage do the N.D.P. hold? under 10%?

I think it's pretty obvious that's not his position, but I wouldn't doubt he stands up for unions more than the conservatives do. That said, I don't see how that would substantially affect resource management in the context of this thread.

This is the reason that the NDP will be focusing on Que as their power base. I would imagine that Mulcair sees his party as the new Bloc and will try to develop the NDP fortunes on that premise.

We'll have to wait and see if it works
