For sure, Tallloola probably invented the term.:lol:
lol
a top four defenseman is a player who plays on one of the top two lines.
I don't think schneider is going anywhere either, and i'm sure gillis isn't planning to trade him
by monday, BUT as he says, IF a deal ever comes along that would make the team BETTER, he would
have to look at it, and that is speaking in general, not just concerning schneider, so I'm sure
he has had many inquiries from teams wishing to acquire schneider allready.
Is there any way Schneider is going to last past the trade deadline? I have a feeling that roughly 29 teams
are going to make an offer for his services. It wasn't the Sedins or any of the top shooters who won the
game last night, it was the back-up goalie, who stopped thirty shots.
yeah he did keep them in the game, but the coaches knew what that game would be like, they had to sit
on the plane in detroit for hours because of weather conditions right after 'that' game, and they
didn't get into jersey until about 3 in the morning, so the writing was on the wall concerning how
the jersey game would go, there is no way canucks would have had the endurance to play 'their' game,
so strategy of how to play the game had to change.
Schneider knew what he had to do, he was ready for the onslaught, he was up for it, he was king of
the ice last night, and he also gathered more suiters for his services, I can just imagine how many
teams have contacted gillis about him now.
They got thru the first period just fine, and scored a couple of goals, then the plan is to save
themselves so they can last the game without totally being overtaken by jersey, it worked.
I'm sure jersey today is very frustrated, as they knew canucks were there for the taking, and they
couldn't do it.
