Que sera, sera. Guess your Momma never told you 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. As far as jealousy, you seem to be the only one here, at the moment, whose obvious envy of the Canuck's success has taken the form of nasty, bitter, belittling comments.

So, can I assume you would hold the same opinion of talloola when she comes into the religious threads to do the same thing?

ya see, trolling is a 2 way street.

Talloola can speak for herself as she has shown ably many times. You seem to have little interest in actually discussing hockey, rather you 'troll' by once in a blue moon to knock the Canucks and that is why I wrote what I did.

as I said the other day, keep praying.

I think schneider is playing tonight, and bitts might be in the lineup too.

Smart move, I was just thinking earlier Lu could use the rest and Schneider could use the experience!

Many because they want to actually score on a shoot out. The sedin sisters are better when they have someone else running interference for them. All flash.

Gerry- Hockey is a TEAM sport, no one is expect to do it ALL themselves! The "flash" is good, it's helps to blind the opponents!

So, tell me talloola, when someone offers an "opinion" on something it's because they are "jealous"? Is that right?

Excuse me for butting in, but I sometimes get the feeling your "opinions" are something stronger than that......................but that might just be me.

Yeah, I remember us discussing the OT and shoot-outs before, JLM..........they do tend to cause us concern for hypertension - though the wins sure are worth the worry.

It was the third period that was damn near my "Waterloo", once they had secured one point I wasn't quite as edgy...............got to figuring the win would just be icing on the cake.

I get the feeling he's been spending too much time around Cannuck and Cannuck is getting him indoctorinated! That's where he got that "Sisters" thing from.

Actually, no I didn't. One of my son's is a Flames fan and he refers to the sedins as "sisters" and has for years. He considers them almost as whiny as Crosby.

Canucks up 1 to 0 after end of 1rst.

I've been thinking about this 'sisters' thing, gerry and realized that the Sedins just might feel pretty good about being called 'girls' considering how well our Canadian women play the game. So from now on when I read that term, I will just think of all the medals and cups our ladies have brought home.

Yes siree, I think it is a good move on Alain's part to play Corey, he does need the experience and Lu has been proving that he has what it takes. Go Corey - he's stopped a few so far in the game.

Here! Here!

And my worst time is when they are in the shoot-out, I feel I should be on my hands and knees praying for whoever is in net to stand tall. Last night, I simply looked skyward and asked the Universe to deliver a win for the Canucks and lo and behold - my wish was granted.

And we both know how much Cannucks opinion counts around here. LOL!

Another fairly convincing win- I think Cory should be first star tonight and good to see some of the "lesser lights" scoring.

................. and the Canucks take it 2 to 1, by the skin of their teeth. After I heard about their long delay in getting out of Detroit last night and considering that they had just played the best team in the Western Conference and won, I think they did well just to stay in the game - looking back it was a really smart move on Alain`s part putting Corey in the net, he was thinking ahead. He had a tired team on his hands but he had a fresh goalie that could make all the difference and Corey delivered.

Not pretty but it was two points to the good and another notch in the Canucks` belt. Good on them, they deserve credit for the win - even though it wasn`t a really pretty one.

He definitely gets my vote - he really came through for the team tonight - good on Cory.

You know, I was thinking along the same lines myself, JLM.......no pun intended :p Actually, I was thinking that the Canucks really have an excellent roster of players - most of them well able to be play makers when their time comes. The Canucks have their superstars but they also have stars that shine just as bright given the chance. Bitz did not contribute much but he is just back from injury so I give him a break. Wiese played well last night - at least he got a break.

strategy for the canucks was excellent, play for scoring in the first period, try to get ahead, which
they did, then conserve energy the rest of the way, and by the third period they were sagging fast.

schneider played awsome, just the ticket for this game, a fresh sharp goalie who could stand in
there and make those saves, as cool as a cucumber.
he is 4th in the league now in save percentage.

they did this without salo, who was rested tonight.

hope they sleep for the next 24 hours, then they will play dallas on sunday.

top of the heap for now, way to go boys, we're proud.-----

I think Mason Raymond really deserved a goal, I think he is one of the hardest working, dependable and sincere on the team.

I realize Schneider played tonight, however Luongo has really become impressive again. He's playing like he did the first couple of years here. Having said that, every time I give him a compliment he reverts back to a sieve, so please accept my apologies in advance if it happens once again.

I think that is the nature of a lot of superstars. I'd say if Luongo can play 50 respectable games in a year and win 45, people should be happy with that.

Just some icing on the cake, Boston lost again, sad part of it is poor widdle Timmy wasn't in goal.
