Obviously not in the thread. I just happened to accidentally click onto this thread when I saw the latest comments( I don't usually frequent the religious or political threads unless required for Mod action). When I saw them, I made a comment.
I should also mention that the above message was directed at both TenPenny and yourself, Mhz. I wasn't picking on only your post.
Yes I understand I wasn't the only one being addressed. I also hope you understand that constantly being a called stupid (etc) for being a believer in God gets a tad annoying, but then isn't that the whole intent of an Atheist engaging a Christian on a thread has to have a degree of 'time to poke 'fun' at xxx' because their views don't line up with mine.
Not that I want to make a big deal of it but at least I do post something close top being on topic with the thread. Being a believer in God hasn'y eliminated my ability to push back when pushed, not that it is a quality to be entirely proud of but for me it is better than biting my tongue and appearing to being intimidated into silence.

Believe me, I can understand how angry it would make you feel. I have also seen it affect Gerry as well. While I am not overly religious myself, I can see how having your religion constantly poked and prodded would be disheartening.
Considering the amount he posts, is it at all surprising that he gets some negative feedback? The subject is obviously an obsession with him, most people are quite receptive to the odd comment voicing one's opinion but they get tired of having it "rammed down their throat" several times a day. :smile:
For the record: I have never called him stupid, I said that I hate people who can't spell one particular word, and for that I was called a name, which I responded with the same name.
No one is in any danger of getting in any trouble, it was just a friendly reminder to try and keep the personal attacks to a minimum.
I can see poor spelling of simple words being an annoyance, but I save hatred for more heinous deeds! :smile:

I can hardly be accused of that as I don't post about God outside of the religious threads so coming to a Christian thread is a long way from me shoving something down anybodies throat.
Like having the word 'God' in the post seems to be enough to set you off.

I hope this shows the two who are 'spelling police' are selective in their targeting which means they are both fibbing about why they post in a hostile manner.
