That was creepy that cardigan. Like Mr. Rogers creepy.

No doubt... That and the helmet-style hair... It always reminds me of the old-school movie's idea of an android.

Harper has an amazing collection of sweater vests and cardigans, he makes most elderly men jealous with his fashion. :p

I'll be looking forward to his use of the words curmudgeon and whippersnapper, hopefully in the same sentence and in Parliament

Teacher's sort of backfired when she asked if anyone knew about PETA and my grand daughter shot back with "People Eat Tasty Animals"....

 I have no idea where she might have heard that....

20 odd years back, in a rural area west of RedneckDeer, my own daughter came home from school crying for the same reason. I visited the teacher, privately, and carefully explained that i was indeed the kind of person he thought i was and the consequences of his incredible act of stupidity would be far worse than what he would have expected had he crossed the girly men he went to teecher school with if he ever did that again.
End of problem but a seemingly incidental comment a week or so later by a Cop i knew gave me pause for a bit. Good to have like minded friends.

Ya know.. He might don that look in order to get a break on his motorcycle insurance... A lid like that has to be some kind of material like they use in body armour

We should lend Harper to NASA, do some aerodynamic testing on his pompadour in a wind tunnel

As mentioned usually the parents had to sign to allow their children to go on an activity outside of school, so what were they thinking of giving their permission. Are they so intimidated that they felt they had no choice but to sign?

Well, I can tell you that last year, my daughter and two friends spent their whole day (and I do mean, the whole day) baking cookies at school for the teachers' union meeting the next day. They didn't volunteer, they were 'volunteered' to do it. Something like 45 dozen cookies.

I wasn't very impressed.

They would have gotten the blackest, most charcoal-y tasting cookies ever made if they had forced me to do that.;)
