He also followed through with Bush's bailouts which the Reps now claim are his.

And what do you suggest any form of government would do when the house of cards built over 4 decades are caving in?

Obama knew exactly what he was getting into, and that never stopped him from still making numerous unattainable promises to secure the election... Of the few promises that he kept, installing a national medicare was the wrong thing to do - considering the financial straits that the US was in.

But all of that is an aside, again, the Dems had control of both Houses, they (Obama) did what they thought best, and as it turns out, those decisions were very poorly made.

We asked for it and we got it. :-(
Anyone is better than Obama, even Sarah, she can take instructions and get rich also. (to bad the people cannot see Jon Huntsman)

Huntsman had the skill sets. To reasonable to make it as a Republican.

What promises has he not kept? What he has been able to control he has done. He has carried out all of his election promises. Pretty difficult to better the economy when the Reps want it in the tank for their own political gain.

He made the mistake of thinking that all of those voters were for his policies, when a large number were just fed up to the gills with Bush. That was a critical error on his part.

Baloney, every candidate promises results. What matters is the actions and processes that are promised (the only things that anyone has control over). He has fulfulled most of what he set out to do. Far better batting average than any other we've seen. He has made every attempt to change Washington but the GOP only got worse. Those idiots can't even work together in their own party.

He made radical changes that did not sit well with many voters. Obama Care has serious deficiencies. One is no cap on malpractice. Lawyers donate big time to both parties.

He thought he had the mandate when he did not. Mentioned earlier.

Recall Clinton - It's the economy stupid.

Radical changes, that's what he promised. Of course it doesn't sit well, the GOP attack dogs and online rags will do what it takes to make sure it doesn't sit well.

No, the average 10 % of voters Plus - that disagreed. Blaming it all on the Repubs is not your usual perspective. I am referring to before the House changed hands and passed over control to the baggers, wackos i might add that have held all Repubs to the fire of We will get ya philosophy.

Did anyone think for a minute that such change would be regarded as positive once the smear campaigners sunk their claws in?

Obama gave the GOP every opportunity to participate in the process. They refused to (just like they've done in every other issue). Phuck the GOP, they are leaderless.

Look at the past, Obama was playing games as well, not as many mind you but he is a hardball politician. Chicago Style.

Yes, but this group of elephants takes the cake for partisanship. Nothing matters to them except cheap political points.

He tried to reason with the then Rep minority but nothing aside from religious backed nonsense and welfare for the rich will appease them.

Obama did not have to reason with the minority GOP, the Democrats could have dictated pretty much what ever they wanted, they did blow it out of fear of losing the Independent vote. They lost their chance, now we are in chaos.
