Pipes for? There is only one player and they are exploration only and they are in deep ****.. Oil sands fall second to Uranium which is given far more priority when it comes to developement and infrastructure.
Gas and oil and theres more then one player doing it.
I have buds that have been there 2 years now and they have a hard time getting a day off.At least 4 pipeline outfits from Alberta are now going there to lay pipe.I dont know where you get your info from but I'll believe the guys in the industry that are there right now instead as I do know most of the big bosses from most pipeline outfits and I do keep in touch.
Sorry,when I got my inspector wings and was an Encanna rep I took an oath of secrecy,I cant divulge that info.
I can go back at any time doing inspection work so I dont want to burn that bridge.
They would probably sue my numbered company if I did anyways,they are very strict on confidentiality and I signed way too many papers that will put my ass in a sling if I say anything that they dont see as appropriate.
Yes there is,lots of sagd action there right now.That's what most of their extraction will be,not open pit mining.
I know what is going on. It's exploration only and it's going no where for the time being. Until proven it sits.
But not for oil sands. Viking / Dodsland plays and the other northern sweet and heavy but not oil sands for delivery.
Well I've said enough,I really cant talk about this stuff but you have no idea whats going to happen there within 2 years and I do.
