Interesting and simple test. It's astonishing that so many people got less than half right. These results say that 80% of the (voting) public doesn't have a clue and that's pretty scary. "Who are the most consistently misinformed media viewers?" Jon Stewart asked Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday" this weekend. "The most consistently misinformed? Fox, Fox viewers, consistently, every poll."
Wrong! The truth-vetting project PolitiFact looked into the "Daily Show" host's sweeping claim since Wallace himself did not challenge it. It "found three surveys since 2007 that shed some light on how informed Fox viewers are compared to consumers of other media"--none of which ranked the Fox News audience at the bottom of the misinformation barrel, even if the network did score low in certain areas pertaining to accuracy.

I guessed debt too.

I think in the end, this group will always score better than the general public, as we're all a little more involved in the general goings on of the world than most people.

A little U.S.-centric, only two of the questions aren't specifically related to U.S. news, the one about the Mad Colonel and the one about Facebook's founder, but I got them all.

A terrific test for Americans. Why Canadians should know the answers to any of these questions I have no idea. I also believe that question 8 is answered incorrectly. So far as I know the Republicans have a majority only in the Senate. That might change a few test scores.
