Yet you complain when 'the other side' takes up that same attitude, even on a much smaller scale than the US and her invasion partners.

Would you be satisfied if the Western nations adopted a policy of beheading prisoners on live broadcasts, dragging their bodies through the streets or summary executions via hangings off of bridge decks?

Compared to the lead-up footage (and audio) when a wedding party gets blasted (or a friendly fire incident). We do our killing from the air, it doesn't matter very much who we kill no body ever gets in ****. If they can't use the same methods then they should lay down their, or what would you find acceptable as 'resisting with deadly force'. Why not show all the footage, oh yeah public outrage at home and abroad. It was the prison photos that caused the internationa community to lose respect for the US, $2 less at the pumps was all American needed to okay the torture as acceptable considering the goals it achieved.

They seem ok to do it behind closed doors until they get the public behind them through their propaganda machine. Torture is good, ex-judicail assassination is good, illegal invasions are good. I have absolutely no respect for the western leaders who seem to think that sinking to level of what they oppose makes them better people and able to hold the moral high ground.

A friend of mine who is an ex-Special Forces with the US in Vietnam, says this whole story stinks of BS. He worked with Navy Seals and says this story does not have their signature on it. He says the whole thing was fabricated because the Seals would never have dumped the body in the ocean. This story is already unraveling but like other BS stories to come out of the Pentagon and Washington, people don't want to know the truth, they just want to feel like they are still number one. Sad commentary on the general psyche of the American public and some right wing yahoos in Canada.

Who said the Seals dumped his body?

Their job is to get the target, dead or alive in this case. Then hand him over to the people in charge of the next phase.

If he was captured alive, would the Seals be trying the case against Osama? No.

Would the Seal team be conducting the DNA tests? I don't remember reading about that part of their training. So that's another no.

Are you saying that the Seals would disobey clear instructions?

What if the orders were to get the body, extract samples for DNA, and dump it in the ocean. Would the Seals refuse to do that?

After all the propaganda that has come out of the pentagon and whitehouse in the last decade you would think people would learn to ask questions and get real proof before jumping up and down in the streets. I am sure that even as this current news 'event' unravels itself with the everchanging story and mysterious disappaerance of the body and a complete lack of the presentation of any hard eveidence it will surley be recognized for the propaganda it is. This is only the 9th time there has been a report of Bin Ladens death since 2002 so anyone that doesn't take it witha boatload of salt is either an idiot or just wants to continue perpetrate illegal wars and invasions around the globe.

Let's just think for a minute of 2 major propaganda pieces to have emerged in the last few years.

Pat Tillman, NFL star who gives up his career worth millions to go fight for his country. After a couple of years and deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq urges his whole platoon to vote against Bush and vows to return home after his term to fight against the war in the public. Miraculously killed first by the enemy, then by a 'friendly fire' incident but somehow this incident involved Tillman gettting shot in the head 3 times a such close range there were powder burns on his face and the grouping of shots would take an expert sniper at less than 100 yards, not that anyone could take 3 shots to the head before they fell in a heap. Amazingly also no other troops or equipment had even a nick or scratch from any fire at all. This guy was murdered, plain and simple, because he was a huge recruitment tool who was about to decry the war and the war effort publicly at home. Of course the first story from the govt was a rebel attack as they tried to make him a martyr for their cause.

Jessica Lynch, PFC Lynch was apparently some great US hero who fought off attackers when her convoy was attacked and 10 of her fellow troops were killed. The official story also said she had been stabbed and even wounded by gunfire during her standoff with the Iraqi freedom fighters. She was apparently roughed up by her captors and treated very badly in a hospital held by these so-called rebels. Turns out the real story was she hid in the back of her truck cowering in the darkness after the truck rolled over. She suffered a broken ankle and dislocated shoulder in the crash and no other injuries. She was immediately taken to a hospital where she was treated quite well and recieved adequate medical attention. While the Iraqis remained around the area of the hospital for some time they left the area days before the dramatic rescue, the only people the Rangers found in the hospital were some very surprised and scared nurses and doctors. Apparently the CIA operatives who found her location knew 2 days before the raid that there was no resistance in the area but the drama of great propaganda couldn't be resisted by the powers that be. It would also be an added note that the doctors actually tried to return PFC Lynch to US military forces 3 days before the supposed rescue but were fired upon and forced to retreat to the hospital even while waving a white flag.

With evidence like this of the propaganda machine and the great lengths the US govt will go to how can anyone believe anything they say without a great deal of evidenciary proof? The CIA has admitted to faking videos of OBL, the whitehouse and pentagon have been caught ina myriad and multitude of lies and deciet, and I for one cannot believe a word that they say.

Acute Renal Failure isn't survivable beyond 5 years. You don't need a news report to learn that.

Mortality/Morbidity

Chronic kidney disease is a major cause of morbidity and mortality, particularly at the later stages. Although the diabetic population is at highest risk, in the United States, the general hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis populations have 2 hospital admissions per patient per year; patients who have a renal transplant have an average of 1 hospital admission per year. The 5-year survival rate for a patient undergoing chronic dialysis in the United States is approximately 35%. This is approximately 25% in patients with diabetes. The most common cause of death in the dialysis population is cardiovascular disease.

Among patients with ESRD aged 65 years and older, the mortality rates are 6 times higher than in the general population. In 2003, over 69,000 dialysis patients enrolled in the ESRD program died (annual adjusted mortality rate of 210.7 per 1000 patient-years at risk for the dialysis population, which represents a 14% decrease since peaking at 244.5 per 1000 patient-years in 1988). The highest mortality rate is within the first 6 months of initiating dialysis, which then tends to improve over the next 6 months, before increasing gradually over the next 4 years.

The mortality rates associated with hemodialysis are striking and indicate that the life expectancy of patients entering into hemodialysis is markedly shortened. At every age, patients with ESRD on dialysis have significantly increased mortality when compared with nondialysis patients and individuals without kidney disease. At age 60 years, a healthy person can expect to live for more than 20 years, whereas the life expectancy of a 60-year-old patient starting hemodialysis is closer to 4 years.

I can put 3 rounds through a three inch circle at a 1000yards, and I'm no sniper. It seems kind of interesting someone that claimed to be an expert on the FNC1, a weapon that can group well, at 600yards out, would support such a silly notion.

Actually that would qualify you as a sniper. I have had 5 in 6" at 1000 yds with my .383 and a good scope but only on a stationary paper target.

But can you do it on a live target? Get real here, the victim is going to hit the ground with the first shot so unless he falls exactly right you are never going to get that grouping, especially when you consider his platoon mates should reasonably have opened return fire immediately. And the M-16 is not a long range weapon that has any decent accuracy over about 200 yards, hell its hardly accurate at 100 yards, and you certainly wouldn't get powder burns past 10 yards from any weapon I know of. A triple tap to the forehead in a live fire situation where nobody else is hit nor is any equipment hit even once, even if it was from long range, would still be an assassination and next to impossible!

Bullet holes matched a 5.56mm round and it was a 'friendly fire' incident by the second official account. I don't believe the US army uses AK's as standard issue.
Let me tell you something. If you run out of ammo for your rifle on the battlefield and for some reason can't get more, what are you going to do? I would pick up the first enemy gun i found. If they all have AK's ammo would be findable for sure.

So since many believe we are dealing with a lot of bullsh*t here, why couldn't the report of "Acute Renal Failure" been bullsh*t to start with? Why are some reports regarded as gospel while others are written off as "bullsh*t"? Could it be because it fits closer to what some people wish to believe?

Actually that would qualify you as a sniper.
No, it qualifies me as a Marksman. To become a sniper, there is a whole painful world of tests, and trials.

If all it took was a good grouping at long range, me and the rest of the gopher/coyote hunters around here would be professional snipers.

I have had 5 in 6" at 1000 yds with my .383 and a good scope but only on a stationary paper target. But can you do it on a live target?
I can drop coyotes on the move at that range. It's one of the reasons I prefer archery hunting, it's harder.

Get real here, the victim is going to hit the ground with the first shot so unless he falls exactly right you are never going to get that grouping, especially when you consider his platoon mates should reasonably have opened return fire immediately.
On full auto? I bet the shot is more then just possible.

And the M-16 is not a long range weapon that has any decent accuracy over about 200 yards, hell its hardly accurate at 100 yards, and you certainly wouldn't get powder burns past 10 yards from any weapon I know of.
The C7A2 has an effective range of 440yards, and confirmed kills way past 600. Although the powder burns would indicate a close quarter kill.

But without definitive evidence. It's still just a theory.

A triple tap to the forehead in a live fire situation where nobody else is hit nor is any equipment hit even once, even if it was from long range, would still be an assassination and next to impossible!
Snipers are long range killers, and depending on the orders, assassins. Depending on how far away the shooter was, three to the head is not impossible.

The holes matched a 5,56mm round and not a 7.62mm round?

I don't think so.

That kind of determination can only be made by analyzing bullets, or bullet fragments.
